Description
Calgary, Alberta, Canada

About 1/2 Scale or so. I wanted to include as much of the city I could within the 25 playable tiles so I had to scale it, but it is a pretty reasonable comparison to the real Calgary. (Sorry I couldn't get you in, Chaparral, Auburn Bay and Cranston!)

First Highway Connection is a makeshift Memorial Drive interchange with Deerfoot just to get you started.

I've included the Ring Road, Deerfoot Trail, and most of highway 1 except the cross town 16th avenue portion.
I also brought in one major CP rail line through downtown and connected to the east and west. It'll be up to you if you would like to use more rail than that.

Heightmap from terrain.party was uploaded, but then I had to go through the rivers, islands and bigger hills to do some work on them. Hilariously after I added the river sources, mission, downtown and prince's island all flooded, so I had to fix that up. I also added various resources in places I felt were appropriate.

Finally, I can't create a map with dams prebuilt! So if you try and add Bearspaw or Glenmore dam I can't guarantee the map won't flood!

Good luck, I hope you enjoy it!

Understanding that you had to reduce the scale to fit in Calgary and as much of the GCA as possible, props! There was another workshop mod that scales 1:1, but as a consequence, the buildable area is 1950's-1960's Calgary.
I'm looking forward to taking this one for a spin.
I'll do what Nenshi never could!!!!!

The scale is quite off in this one and the roads/rivers are quite inaccurate. The terrain is varied and unique but not to the scale of Calgary. Nonetheless, I'd say this one is super fun and playable right off the bat. Great job!
