Machu Picchu - Hand Drawn, Adapted for Gameplay

Description
Machu Picchu... The terraced city atop a mountain. One of Civilization's greatest ancient achievements.

What would it look like today if the Inca had never been driven out by Spanish Conquistadores?

Now... you have a chance to build that legacy. With modern tools, explosives, and advances in infrastructure and agriculture, your people have been able to shape the famous site into something more liveable and with room for expansion. A modern highway and railway has been built up the cliffsides, and fresh water springs bring an easier source of water to the mountaintop. The strong winds and powerful waterfalls can even be used as clean and natural ways of providing electricity to the people, which would make your ancestors proud.

80% of usable territory can be acquired within the 9 tile limit, but mods unlocking the full 25 spaces will give you access to all of it.

CREATOR'S NOTE: This map has been designed with gameplay in mind. I realize the actual site has far less open space and the terraces are not nearly as expansive. But building a map like that will leave extremely little in the way of buildable space. So consider Machu Picchu to be the "inspiration" for this modified map. You will notice, however, that the general shape of the mountain, as well as the river system that carved it, is very similar to the actual site. Enjoy this map for the beauty it provides at face value, and I promise you'll love it. :)

You should send a link to Jesse Cox. A play-through this map would be pretty cool.

Take screenshots (F12) in free look mode and after you exit the game, Steam will ask to upload them to your cloud. I can probably pull some from there if they are public.

Where might I post these?

Thanks Deeouye, I've been waiting for some feedback. This map has a lot of subs, so was hoping to hear from someone! Glad you're enjoying it. If you'll post some screenshots of your city, maybe I can feature them in the slideshow above. I have been working on my own, but want to post a variety. :)

Great map, I'm making a very fun city on this map. Only complaint is that the massive waterfalls can be dammed for relatively cheap and make you ungodly amounts of power. Not a big problem though, the map is super pretty :).
