Yeah, in the First game, all I had to do, was get Salvagers, and just take a ship or 5 out from under the enemy. Be they Cruisers, Frigates, or what-have-you. I probably ended up with over 40 Frigates, most of which were "salvaged" from my enemies. Even a TON of the corvettes from those robot guys!

separate limit (very smol, only 14!) on salvage corvettes in remaster - baaaad!
I remember Homeworld 1 walkthrough from year ~2000 advicing (for the final mission) to build 50+ salvage corvettes and Z-drag order them to capture WHOLE enemy attack group, even if they fail to capture everyone and die - they will slow this group and buy time for your actual combat fleet to arrive.

It was fun to get a few Swarmers from the Khadesh missions. You stick around and find a few of them just kind of hovering around and take a salvage vette and go steal them 1 by 1! lol i had about 15 of them at one point.

Anyone else capture every one of those ion cannon frigates from that huge ball of icon cannon frigates. Took a long time but was worth it as all the beams annihilated every foe after that.
