Fun game! Level 8 was trippy with the angled view :)
Although I stopped playing at level 12 because I got tired of reclimbing it all after dying to spikes or bullets I couldn't see before leaping forward. Not sure how I'd fix that... Is there a way of moving the camera forward maybe? Anyway, a cool little game.

Dreams v1.3 launched! After a brutal battle with code and variables, we now have controller support, a much better music engine, and a pause menu. All three of these uprooted old code dedicated to running the game so old save data is now obsolete. Future updates shouldn't wipe data as future features are set-up to work with the new framework.

Thanks so much for playing it through Avenged Aussie! It's always great to hear feedback from people who really took their time and got into it. I'm looking forward to the polished finished product also!

I loved this game, Hahaha i was getting so frustrated in some parts, but thats what i love about this game, its actually hard enough to be fun and you get a sense of acomplishment finishing each level, making you push through more. Great potential in this game, and cant wait to play a finished product after it's been polished up.

Kittydaw: Thanks for checking it out!
Pirate: Constructive criticism is the best thing ever. I agree with almost everything you mentioned. We are putting together a bug fix/balance update and those things are included. The only thing is that most levels are made to be short enough to not need shortcuts (level 5 being one of the longer exceptions). I think I'm going to look into balancing out the longer levels better so that dieing a minute into playing isn't as frustrating. Thanks for the opinions!

Here are some of my observations. Now I know this is not completed game, but constructive critisism is always good.

- Music is a tad bit too loud. Until you implement options screen, jag down the music.
- Lack of checkpoints. I understand that it's supposed to be hard, but especially level 5 was unforgiving because of level restarting every time I died.
- Underwater spike hitbox felt bit out of place. I sometimes died even though I wasn't touching the spike.
- There should be button for next level that you can press, rather than having to always click it with mouse.

However, this game has potential and I am looking forward for next updates and will surely try them out. Good job!

Thanks a ton, a lot of work was put into it! I think I know exactly where you mean; the enemy can get a pretty cheap shot off. I was wondering if that would need to be nerfed a bit!

This game is awesome for gamemaker! However, I almost threw my computer out my window on the third level. XD
