Unofficial patch + 1080p resolution + vsync

Hey guys I just took this info from posts in the forum:

Unofficial patch:
Included in top ZIP link

Checked for the Russian and English localizations. But should work for all.
For applying simply extract archive to the games directory (i.e. to the Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\Silent Storm)

Fixes for:
1. Bugged last Mission. ATTENTION! After the applying of this patch you must start from the save before launch of this mission. Usage of "restart" feature is not enough. Reason: guys from the Nordic Games forgot to add some external resources of this game.
2. Absence of shadows (and several another video effects) on the some configurations. Reason: guys from the Nordic Games patched main exe file of this game by the incorrect way.
3. Also i add to the package last versions of the Nival's official mods for this game (AlwaysCritical, APForInventoryUsage, HeadshotShouldKill and ImprovedBackstab). Its corresponds to the version 1.2 of original game (steam version contain same files from 1.0)

1080p resolution patch

Download game.zip and replace game.exe in folder \SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Silent Storm

You may want to make a backup of your game.exe before replacing it, if not you will have to verify game files to revert back


1024х768 change to 1920х1080
This fix works with - fix shadows (d3d9.dll)

alternate 1080p method by Novik65 - only use this if patch doesn't work
find and change
setvar gfx_resolution = 1920.00
it's in SteamApps\common\Silent Storm\cfg

the file is config.cfg

open it in notepad

Put dx9 file in silent storm main folder (:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Silent Storm)

P.S. I discovered, that this is unofficial patch (not resolution and not v-sync), who droppes down fps... Really starnge.

I installed all the files (inofficial patch, resolution, sync) and fps dropped down dramatically... Any suggestions?
