Floating Portal "Orb" Glitch!!!

Step-by-step guide on how to get glowing orbs anywhere!

Description

I came across this glitch completely by accident. These "orbs" don't do anything to you or your game and you can walk straight through them with no effect. If you have a slow computer or one that can't handle a lot of moving entities/animations, don't spawn too many. They'll slow down your framerate quite a bit. Other than that, these things just look cool!

Step One

Find a door.



Pick a door, any door

(except this kind)

They can be locked


or unlocked.

Step Two

Aim and Fire!



Look at any part of the door. It doesn't have to be right on an edge of it or anything like that. Now, all you have to do is fire!

Results

You can even jump and duck to get them at different heights.


However, you can't be too close to the door or else it won't work. Shooting it at close range will just make the portals act like they normally would on non-portalable walls.
