Path of Adventure is a mod like no other!

Have you ever wanted a concrete goal in the game? Something to work towards? Have you ever wanted to be surprised by the game? To experience a completely new game, yet with familiar names and rules?

Play a procedurally-generated adventure in which your ruler seeks to claim an ancient, powerful artifact for their own.

Gain permission to search the lands of neighbors or occupy their provinces and do it anyway! Through a series of adventures, you may send your armies to the corners of Europe or beyond.

It will be an adventure spanning decades, giving you a goal to work towards and a story to discover. Which faction is behind all of this?

In the end, it will be worth it. Continue playing with the power of an ancient relic behind your nation.

The mod uses randomized events and factions that give it a great deal of replayability. There are four different treasures, thirteen different factions and any number of places to search. The mod is designed for single player games only. Players must play a country in Europe, North Africa or the Middle East in order to start the event chain. Any start date is allowed, although the adventure may take many decades to finish. The mod's events are similar to Dan Brown or Indiana Jones, and sometimes play fast and loose with history. Do not play it if you expect complete historical accuracy. DO play it if you want a good time.
