We’re PAXEast Bound!!!
Fate Tectonics in the Indie Mega Booth at GDC!
Description
What they're saying about Fate Tectonics

“If you play only one real-time polytheistic tile-placement world-building strategy puzzle game, make it this one!”—RAIGAN BURNS , Metanet Software (N++)

“Has all the joys of creating with all the pains of having it crumble away around you.”—JAMIE TUCKER, Asteroid Base (Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime)

“Fate Tectonics is a beguiling game; it lures us in with the cathartic pleasure of clicking together puzzle pieces. The satisfaction in snapping the precise piece into the perfect place is matched only by games like Carcassonne. That is until you realize that you are actually playing a precarious game of house of cards with three angry toddlers stomping about.”—JOHN Z. LINDVAY, BigSushi.FM

The Game

Build up a world piece-by-piece using the power of the god-like Fates, while keeping them happy enough to avoid world-shattering temper tantrums!

Features

  • Easy to pick up and play casually, but also offers deep challenge for more strategic players.
  • The powerful Book of Saving system allows you to step through and modify your playthrough!
  • Beautiful motion comics bring your world, and the terrible powers of The Fates, to life!
  • Handcrafted in-game pixel art, a soundtrack of symphony & steam, Twitter-shareable worlds!
  • Harness the power of a pantheon of fates, each with their own unique destructive powers!
You can play today!

The alpha build is currently available at http://www.fatetectonics.com. Purchasing today give you access to developer builds, as well as complimentary upgrade to full version when it's released.

In the event that Fate Tectonics is Greenlit, Steam keys will be provided to all existing players.

I played this at GDC 2015 yesterday with my fiance. It was fun! :) The tiles don't exactly match up, but it truly is an interesting puzzle game.

@KPD The Fates look on those who perceive colour falsely as an affront to their good will. Expect a visit from Pestur.

Why are you called Golden Gear when the gear in your logo is obviously black and blue?

Thanks, @Hog137 and @QP! Wait 'til you see what we've got coming up…!

It looks super-fun and also has a sense of humour. Have to admit I was a bit ambivalent until I watched the Let's Play tutorial. I want to play this!
