Is Tibia free?

Yes! You can play free of charge for as long as you want and enjoy most of the content and features Tibia offers!

If you like the game, you may consider getting Premium Time to upgrade your free account to premium status. This will grant you additional benefits such as access to premium areas and outfits, the ability to rent houses, and a greater variety of spells, just to a name a few.

How can I play?

Tibia can be played without installing by using the highly customisable Tibia Flash client. In addition, there is also a stand-alone client available as free download.

Minimum system requirements (Tibia Flash client)

Operating System: Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or higher), Windows Vista, Windows 7
Browser: Internet Explorer 8.0 (or higher), Mozilla Firefox 4.0 (or higher), Google Chrome

  • 2.6 GHz Intel Pentium 4, AMD Athlon 64 3400+ or 1.6 GHz Intel Core Duo (or higher)
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • 52 MB free space on your hard disk (+ approximately 150 MB for the complete map files)

If your system does not meet the system requirements for using the Tibia Flash client, you may also consider playing the game using the Tibia stand-alone client. This client offers nearly all features of the Flash client, while requiring a considerably smaller amount of system resources:

I wish it could be on steam and they make a totally new server, when everything starts again, no 100+ lvls. Everyone start at rook. Oh gosh, let dreams come true
