Release date: It's released already!
More Power To The Shields
You've always wanted to sit in a big captain's chair and shout, "More power to the shields!" and "Fire the torpedoes!" I have too, and this is why I built Quintet.

Quintet is a scifi cooperative, cross-platform, multiplayer, "crew" game where players work harmoniously to control the same ship. There are 5 roles: Captain, Helm, Tactical, Engineering and Science. How successful you are will depend on how well you all work together.

There are multiple types of ships for 1 to 5 playes per ship. All of the different ships can play with (or against) each other in the same missions. Windows, Mac, Linux, Web Browser and Tablet/Mobile users can all play together! You can all play over the Internet or on your LAN as well.

There are several missions/scenarios to choose from including favorites such as Capture the Flag and King of the Hill.

We are looking at roughly March or April. There are some things we would like to polish off first before it hits Steam and everyone tries it. With that being said, you can grab the latest beta here to see what we currently have:

Do you have any planned date on when the game will be released on Steam?

Just to clear up any potential confusion, the game is fully playable for free RIGHT NOW. It's been in a playable state since before the Kickstarter campaign in 2013. We've provided download links here and on the website, for those interested in playing Quintet on the other platforms as well.

There was a game a few years ago I sincerely enjoyed named XCOM Intercepter, not sure if anyone remembers it; it ran on the old Windows 98 system only. This is the closest thing I've come across to XCOM other than EVE which of course, costs monthly and between the lag and crashing I can't come to enjoy it. This seems something I'd genuinly be interested in playing and can't wait to give it a shot
