Bionic Attack is now greenlit !
Bionic Attack release delayed
Release date: After the summer 2014
Bionic Attack is a Real Time Strategy game, with a bit of tower defense, in a post-apocalyptic world.

It will be released on Linux, Mac OS and Windows.

World background

In a far-off solar system, on an isolated planet, the war rages on between the Democratic Alliance and the Conglomerate. More than for the planet domination, the two factions are confronting for the control of resources.
The noxious air and the incessant fights have compelled the population to shelter in bunkers with endless galleries.
Solely the mechanic units are sent to the surface in order to collect the resources and to build defences.
The peace will come only with the destruction of one of the factions. Bionic Attack will immerse you into the story of this conflict at a turning point. The emergence of a new technology in the army of the Democratic Alliance rushes the Conglomerate into a global and unprecedented offensive which leads the two factions to the ultimate battle.

The game concept

As player your aim is to destroy the enemy bunker. To reach this goal, each faction owns a special unit.
The Democratic Alliance owns the Bionic Weapon that is really efficient against bunkers, however you can't control the Bionic Weapon directly, you have to use blocks to change its direction. A player can use only one Bionic Weapon at a time.
On the other side, the Conglomerate owns "Drones", they are less efficient agaist bunkers, but they can fire at the Bionic Weapon and they don't need blocks to be directed. A player can use up to three drones at a time.

Special units can use abilities that need special resources to be activated.
There are three types of abilities: life, defense and attack.

Both sides can build towers and small units (named "spikes") to protect bunkers and outposts or attack enemy positions.
To be produced, all these units need energy that is delivered by power plants, so you have to convert and protect those to dominate the match.

  • a campaign for the story with more than 40 missions
  • independent maps for the challenge
  • 3 levels of difficulty
  • multiple graphic themes
  • asymmetric gameplay with special units

Team & Development Status
We are a small studio created by two brothers, we started Bionic Attack three years ago,
and it should be released in a few months (after the summer 2014).

We are still working hard on Bionic Attack, we were not working full time on it during the last months of 2014 due to additional work aside.

The game is playable but it still needs improvement (on balance, interface and campaign).
We have also added some functionalities like game saving and AI is almost finished.

Since the game is developed on Linux/Debian the Linux version is the most advanced ;)

Thanks for your interest.

Can we have an update or at least a comment about the state of the game.
And what about the Linux version. I am a Linux only user. I would love a Linux version.
