Apsis is Greenlit!
Apsis at GDC Next: Indie Games Live
Release date: July 2014
Apsis is a playful, uplifting experience about flying.

You are a shepherd of birds. Starting with just one bird, your flock will grow as you find others to join you in your travels. You and the birds are part of the myth of this world.

  • Feel the swiftness and grace of flight
  • Discover a beautiful, hand-painted world
  • Escape into an emotional experience crafted through thoughtful gameplay

“[...] relaxing gameplay that can hardly be compared to any recent release on the market; portable and otherwise”
- Portable Gaming Region

“Yes please, I’d like to be playing this now.”
- John Walker, RockPaperShotgun

“Apsis is less a game and more a thoughtful, contemplative experience.”
- Ken Gagne, Computerworld

Apsis is also being developed for Android tablets and (tentatively) iOS.

I know it's a casual game but is there any way to lose at this game? Can you lose members of your flock at all? I think it would be very interesting if the object was to see how many of the flock you could keep together and alive.

The game looks beautiful but I would like somewhat of a challenge...
