Description

It always bugged me that the guards of winterhold didnt carry their holds shields. I searched the web and found a small handful of mods that fixed this error but most either added a lot more content or were bugged; so I set out to make my own.

In this mod the guards of winterhold now carry the Winterhold shield.

But how does this differ from the other mods?

Well I also removed their weapon levelled lists and replaced them with 1handed weapon levelled lists so that the guards
will now equip and carry the the shields; the winterhold guards have a 2handed lvelled list and thus would not equip the shields (untill now).

The reason that they don't wear shields has to do with their ancient history, it's in an in-game book somewhere, look it up.

Looks good. I like when the guards have their shields on. If you don't already know about it, there's a mesh for long-sleeved stormcloak armor, which is the basis of the guards armors, and they will all go long-sleeved if you put their textures on that mesh.

I was trying to collect all the guard shields, and I was mad that the guards in winterhold didn't have their own shields, so thanks for this!

In my case, they did not equip their shields. They switched from 2 handed weapons to one handed weapons but did not don their shields walking around. I do not have any other guard mods besides Open Face Guard Helms which should not cause a conflict. Even being the last in load order could not fix this. Great idea, but just didn't work for me.
