Perks Expanded V1

Description
IMPORTANT NOTE!
VERSION 2 NOW AVAILABLE!
FIND IT ON MY WORKSHOP PAGE!
This mod is an ongoing attempt to greatly expand the perk trees of Skyrim with new perks, but not replacing or changing any existing perks and also having these new perks not require any other perks to invest in to ensure compatibility with other mods (while still requiring a certain skill level), so Perks Expanded can be used alongside your favorite perk overhaul. I've tried to balance these perks so it does not get too OP, but I understand some players may deem a few of these to be OP. If a majority agree a certain aspect of the mod is too OP, I will be happy to fix it.
This mod will be constantly updated with new perks, so if the small perk list puts you off, and you think to yourself "Bah, Perks Expanded is not worth the small amount of perks you get with it!" favorite and check back later! It will surely have a more expansive list of perks for you to choose from next time you level!
If you like this mod, please rate! Also, you may find another mod that you may like on my Workshop Page.

Version I Perks:
Fire, Frost, And Storm Mastery
Reduces cost of Fire, Frost, and Shock spells respectively by 25%
Requires a Destruction skill of 70, 80, or 90 respectively.

Shouting Mastery
Halves shout cooldown time.
Requires 90 Speech.

Ward Mastery
Wards cost significantly less magicka. (80% Magicka cost reduction)
Requires 80 Restoration.

Scholar Perks
Adds a perk to each skill tree that hastens skill gain in that skill by 50%.
Requires skill level 50.

Version 2 is now available as a separate mod. (Creation Kit was being awkward) You can find it on my Workshop Page.
Any suggestions are welcome, as this mod can be improved through them!

hey mate, i was wondering... you seem fairly skilled with these.... i have some ideas, wondering if you could have a look at them and maybe use apply them?
Zeuseus Apr 9, 2012 @ 2:28am
@Ghost, that appears to be a glitch with a lot of mods that affect smithing perks and/or new armour
Magos Apr 9, 2012 @ 1:40am
I'm having the same armor smith glitch. After installing this patch working a single item will gave me full armor smithing. I have no idea why.

Hoplite
Heavy Armor 25, Light Armor 25, Blocking 40, One handed 25... also Requirement Deflect Arrows perk
If wearing heavy armor boots, helmet, and sheild with light armor chest and gloves then your blocking and power attacks uses 50% less stamina and blocking 30% more effective. If attack hits and isn't blocked than it restores 50 stamina.
Note: to mimic ancient greek style of warfare.

Hoplite rank 2
Blocking 60 also Requirement Quick Reflexes perk
Now after a successful block your one handed attack speed is increased by 50% for 3 seconds. Adds an additional 20% to blocking effectivness

Testudo Formation
Requirement: Hoplite rank 2 and blocking 80
Frees mixed armor requirment, can now use all heavy armor too (but not all light armor). If you have the bladesman perk it doubles your critical damage chance for 3 seconds after successful block. Power Bash now uses half stamina if your wearing the either armor requirement.
Note: to mimic ancient Roman style of warfare.

Sorry more ideas... lolz...

Two Handed Parry
Two Handed 75
After succesfully blocking an attack with a two handed weapon, if your next attack is a power attack than it strikes at twice as fast with no stamina cost. Time limit 3 seconds after successful block.
Note: to make blocking with two handed somewhat useful strategically

Two Handed Parry rank 2
Two Handed 90
After succesfully blocking an attack with a two handed weapon, if your next attack is a power attack than it strikes at twice as fast with no stamina cost, this time though with a 90% chance of being a critical hit. Time limit 3 seconds after successful block.
Note: to make blocking with two handed more useful strategically

Two Handed Parry rank 3
Two Handed 100
Blocking with two handed now doesn't slow you down and has a 25% chance of blocking incoming arrows
Note: to make blocking with two handed actually useful strategically
