Trailer: Build, Share & Play and BETA delay
New Trailer
We have made a Trailer showing the Concept of Vision Runner: Build, Share & Play
You can watch it here on our Greenlight Page or on Youtube
https://youtu.be/RPEz_1_kP-0

Status
Last week we achieved a big goal. We made all basic parts of Vision Runner working. So as you can see in the Trailer, Building, Sharing and Playing works fine together as they should. And Sharing a Map works faster than we expected. No we concentrate on fixing Bugs, adding More Filter Options in the Parkour Central and adding more Object to the Editor. The Texture Editor for the Object will be implemented on a later date. That’s why currently every Block has the same Texture.
The implementation of the Multiplayer is currently in research about the Dedicated Servers and the Server Browser.

BETA delay
We got a setback, again. The Computer of our Lead Developer broke down last week. We managed to get an older Computer up and running with the Development Tools over the Weekend. But that Computer is not as good as it should be and it slows down our Development. We need to delay the BETA to End of May/Beginning of June. But so you have more time to Register for the BETA right now!

We also uploaded some new Screenshots on our Greenlight Page, check them out.

BETA
I'm proud to announce the Vision Runner BETA wills start soon. You can now register for BETA Access on http://visionrunner.snowbit.at

More Information about the BETA Start will be announced as soon as possible.
A separate BETA FAQ will also be released soon.

What features will be available for the BETA?
For the BETA we have planned: Of course the Editor, Map Sharing and our Map Central to download and Play Community Maps.
For the first Period of the BETA, only one Game Mode will be available: The Classic Time Mode, run against the Time and beat your Friends and other Players.

At this Time we aren't sure if we include Multiplayer Mode in the first Period of the BETA. We are currently developing Multiplayer Mode but it's not working as it should at the moment. We will definitely try to finish Multiplayer for the BETA release.

Greetings

@Shrek, Yes the Game will have an In-Game Map Browser or how we call it "Parkour Central". There you can Share your Maps and Play Maps from others. We currently don't have plans to implement the Workshop.

Will the game have a workshop or an in game 'browser' to get maps? What sort of things could we do if workshop were available, could we make custom models/gamemodes etc?

Hello, Game Dev here. No we didn't sopped working on the Game! It's our First Game and we still need to collect experience, we encountered some problems. These sadly slowed us down and please remember: This Game is our Hobby not our daily work, we are Students and have to go School.
We would love to release the Game as fast as possible, but we dont want to Release a uncomplete Buggy Game.

We love our Game and our amazing Community, but we can not do magic.
The Main "Problem" (not really a Problem) why we didn't released Content latly is because the most Maps will be made by the Community itself. We will make Maps for the Release but the Map Editor is not finished yet. That distinguishes us from the other games, they show footage of there Levels, most of our levels will come frome the Community. We just deliver the Base Game and Basic Content to Build and Play.

We hope to release more information and footage in the upcoming weeks.

With Love,
Lead Developer Cybergebi

@SideScroll

Yes, there will be a map editor. This was one of the first ideas we had and we are constantly improving the editor. You can create your own maps, share them online and download maps from other players.
