How to Kill the Harvester
By [FALC] Jithvan and 1 collaborators
As of Hotfix 11.5.5 the existance of a new type of Stalker has been confirmed. It is a Zanuka Prototype nicknamed "The Harvester". He is rumoured to be stronger and much more deadly than the Stalker. Much about this creature is still unknown.
In this guide I will explain the following:
  • What is the Harvester?
  • How do we find it?
  • What are its tactics?
  • What it Drops.
  • And How to Kill it.

What is the Harvester?

The Harvester is a Product of the Zanuka Project and is a robot identical to Alad V's pet Zanuka, except this one fights alone and has its own independant Sheilds unlike Alad's Pet.
It is White in colour and has a Reddish Brown outline.
Just Like Zanuka, this enemy has twin rockets mounted on its back with the addition of a laser minigun (just like those on typical corpus walkers).

Its Base Sheilds and Health are suspected to be the same as that of Zanuka.

Much about this entity is still unkown. All we know is that it is fast and deadly to those unprepared.
How do we find it?
According to research carried out by me and my clan we concluded that the Harvester does not have similar spawning patterns to that of the Stalker and that he can spawn on any planet.

De Rebbeca Stated the Following in the recent Patch note.
"- Added clarity and exposure to the Stalker/Harvester Systems in game. Two things to note here:
- When you become eligible to be hunted by either foe, you will know… you will be contacted ... look out.
- If you are already eligible, their contact cycle will begin once you have faced them and re-qualify.
- The Harvester’s methods of securing specimens for Alad V have increased in sophistication, look out or you might get... harvested. "

Therefore we've come up with this new theory on how to spawn the harvester!
Special thanks to Falcon Captain Crazador

We have confirmed that he can appear on any planet (Jupiter and Earth having the most common appearances) and that you need to be doing a corpus mission for him to spawn (Although Grineer Invasion Missions have a higher than average chance of spawning it).

Therefore we believe that just like the Stalker, the Harvester's level is determined by the highest of either the target's maximum weapon rank, or the planet's minimum level, +15

Again like the Stalker the target player will receive a message from the Harvester and Alad V before he spawns. Information also states that player screens will flicker before the Harvester makes its Grand Entry. Grand because unlike the Stalkers more "Noble Approach" (Spawns in a cloud of black smoke while kneeling) the Harvester Spawns with a blinding white light right ontop of you.

He has also been commonly sighted in Corpus Defence Missions.
What are its Tactics?
Primarily it will resort to close qaurters combat with its claws and may spam "Freeze" if you try to run.

It has a laser minigun on its back and may resort to shooting you with it when you are not in close range and it is its Primary Weapon.

He has 3 Confirmed warframe abilities:
  • Rocket Barrage (Slow and Precise)
  • Dispel
  • Freeze (Or may use a "Frost Bomb" instead)

Please be familiar with the above abilities, weapons and statistics before procceding.

It is fast and it will make use of its speed to close in on targets. Its Parkour Capabilities are also not to be underestimated.

He will spawn Extremely close to the Target Player.

It can also pin a Tenno down for four seconds, leaving its opponent vulnerable
(Bug: Harvester is invincible to damage when pinning an enemy down.)

Defensively, it has a huge amount of shields, which is supported by also having a large amount of health. It is also immune to crowd control abilities.
What it Drops.
Just like Zanuka we do not know exactly what Mods or resources the Harvster Drops, but we do know that it will drop parts for the Detron (a corpus shotgun sidearm).

The Detron is the Corpus counterpart of the Grineer Brakk Pistol. White Corpus Crewmen carry this weapon ingame.

The Main Detron Blueprint + Detron Receiver + Detron Barrel + 10 Orokin Cells is needed to craft the Detron.

It is suspected that the Harvester has a 20% chance to drop any of the 3 blueprints and a 40% chance to not drop anything.

Dispite the fact that the Detron's components is complex to gather, it is confirmed that multiple blueprints can be dropped at once appearance.

Here are some Statistics on the weapon:

I will update the drops when more information comes to light.
How to Kill it
So in order to kill this hunk of junk you need to be able to keep moving.
Staying in one place is lethal and you must be able to run and gun while avoiding its frost abilities so using a manauverable warfarme is reccomended like a valkyr.

Note though, as soon as you have the Harvester in your area, waypoint it so other teammate can approach as swiftly as possible.

Nyx's Absorb Ability theoradically seems to be an effective move to use against the Harvester if you are the Target Player.

Other than that a scattered group of team mates pummelling it from above boxes seems to be a conventional and effective way to fend off this treat.

So if you guys have any more information I could add to this guide please leave a comment below and ill be sure to update it. Thanks! and I Hope this helped!

er wait , more deadly than stalker? The first time I met him I raped him with melee weapon by spamming deathblow attack and slam attack beause I didn't dealt enough damage, he actually didn't even hit me once and I had crappy stuff to fight with, he however escaped me as he had only 100 hp left

Easiest way to kill zanuka is to have a member of your team melee lock it so it cant move or even really attack and have the rest just pummel it until it dies. I've been told the same works with stalker as well. The problem with Zanuka is it's damn quick and often extremely jumpy so getting it into a melee lock can be time consuming as opposed to the standard run and gun tactic

Personally, lore wise I am more on the corpus side than the grineer.

However, the technocyte plague is the main enemy for sure.

No no, you misunderstand. You see, for instance if you got two warframes, you kill a boss with one of those warframes you get a death mark for that warframe, if you choose the other warframe which you havent killed any bosses with, the stalker has no chance of appearing as long as you play on your second warframe. I'm wondering if the case with the harvester (requiring you to play against the corpus on invasion missions, siding with the grineer 3 times from normal) is the same, so I can play on one warframe which is an enemy of corpus, then switch to another warframe which is the friend of corpus. (okay not friends, but....not so much of an enemy that they decide to harvest me)
