Description

This small mod removes the standard interior background music for all 3 Hearthfire homesteads. Useful if you use the bard hireling/improvement, and the overlapping music annoys you. Homestead cellars are not affected. (There is an optional version that also removes cellar music available on nexusmods, linked below.)

Note: If you're loading this mod for the first time, and your character is already inside a homestead interior, you'll need to exit and re-enter the home for the mod to take effect. This should only need to be done once.

Load Order: This mod should be loaded after any other audio/speech/music mods, and after any other hearthfire related mods in general.

*This mod is functionally similar to the one posted by Eisvogel, but this mod will not relabel the exterior doors or cellar hatches to German.

i turn the music off, so the mod wouldn't be of any use for me. Will this still work when the new skyrim comes out? Since it is a music mod, i imagine so. But i am not real knowledgable about mods.

If you're having an issue with this mod not working, make sure you have your load order set to load this mod after any other mods that can affect sound/speech/music, as well as any other Hearthfire related mods.

This mod works by changing the background music environment variables for the 3 interior zones to a null value. If you have any other audio/hearthfire mods, it's possible they're overwriting these changes and restoring them to different (or default) values. Putting this mod at the end of your load order should fix any compatibility issues.

Does exactly what it says it does. I like the background music but not when it gets mixed up with my bard. Good job sir.

can't we do this by going into audio and turning off the music? That is what i did. I am going for immersive. And it don't know about anyone else, but i don't have an orchestra following me around as i go about my daily heroics in the real world.
