After living for generations as persecuted refugees, the Letarri people set their sights on a far-off planet as a promising new home. But when the interstellar mission to colonize the new world goes terribly awry, the fate of their people falls into the hands of a lone adventurer. Now it's up to you to unravel the mystery of what happened. Can you save them and their mission, or is it already too late?

Prominence is a first-person, point-and-click adventure game for the PC filled with puzzle-solving goodness, compelling character arcs, and an engaging story of hope and humanity in the best traditions of good science-fiction.

- Solve a dynamic mix of challenging, yet logical, puzzles that tie directly into the story.
- Discover clues and reconstruct the events of the mission through emails, audio recordings, environmental clues, and a damaged central computer in need of repairs.
- Hack computer subsystems via a text-based interface.
- Acquire and use additional skills and abilities as you progress through the adventure.
- Become immersed in the world through fully rendered HD environments with animated movement and effects.
- Access holographic data archives to explore a wealth of backstory, environmental details, mission information, crewmember records, and more.
- Experience an original soundtrack with over 40 minutes of music.

German gaming site Adventure Corner previewed Prominence and wrote, "Fans of Arthur C. Clarke's '2001: A Space Odyssey' should keep this adventure in mind." We wholeheartedly agree!

Other notable quotes:
"...this latest space mystery will be one that is definitely worth unravelling."

"technically solid" and "densely atmospheric"

"...a very promising game."

"Prominence is an excellent example of what a small but dedicated developer can produce."

"..evolves methodically and soon draws you deep into the mystery behind the ill-fated mission."

"Sur une musique électro aérienne, des protubérances se forment à la surface d'une étoile, et explosent, feux d'artifice de l'hyperespace, dangereusement séduisants. Oui, ça me rend lyrique."

Sorry to sound impatient, but some of us have literally been waiting years for this game to be released. Can we at least get an annual update?

Yes, indeed. An update would be nice to give us some insight of when to expect it, at least in a beta.

The J.U.L.I.A release trailer is out today, and looking great. Just another month or so to wait. So hows' this game progressing?

The only other game on my Greenlight Voted List is "J.U.L.I.A. Amongst the Stars" which could seriously challenge Prominence for quality and atmosphere. Both games are sure to be winniers when they are (finally) released. Hopefully, this one comes out soon...patience of a Saint - and then some!

Does anyone else think Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri when they see those character illustrations?

Looks fantastic, I am so buying this as soon as it hits the digital shelf.

This is the most anticipated game on my list of must haves! I absolutely would love to pre-order if that option becomes available.
