More Policies (v1.31)

Description
Hello! This mod introduces new policies to the game:

POLICIES IMPLEMENTED (12)
    Religious Institutions Tax
Description: "A tax on the income of all religious organs. It is considered discriminatory by some, and necessary by others that see no good reason for this part of the economy not to be taxed."

    Tax Auditors
Description: "Tax auditors are government employees that verify if individuals and businesses have paid the correct amount of taxes, effectively reducing tax evasion and retrieving the unpaid taxes."

Basic Income Guarantee (Suggested by comradebear)
Description: "Guarantees that every citizen will receive a flat income unconditionally. The socialists say that it's a guarantee to the human right of life, greatly supporting the implementation of such policy, but capitalists say it's a unecessary distortion of the market, stating that if people want to get money they need to work for it."

    Stray Animals Care
Description: "State organ that will take stray animals off the streets. Those in favor of the implementation say this is an excellent idea and with the state's budget it will be possible to make sure there are no more stray animals, though some may argue that this may hurt pet selling stores and thus hurt the economy."

    State Sciences Institute
Description: "By funding a large, advanced technology research institute with focus on physics, biology and chemistry the country will gain a large technology advantage, thought the project is expensive and takes a long time to take effect. Only the richest countries are able to afford this project, but those that can end up becoming an international reference on technology."

    State Religion
Description: "Defines the state's position on religion, either favoring it or being neutral."

    Adoption Incentives
Description: "Adults are incentivated to adopt by receiving a progressive income to help raising adopted child/teens.A small portion of conservatives and religious citizens say this is against the traditional families value and are heavily opposed to it."

State Security Program (suggested by Bigsnee)
Description: "Additional security measures specifically to protect the head of state from assassination. These will be seen as invasive by liberals, and a sign of weakness by patriots. (note that security is a hidden stat in this game, so you won't see the benefit displayed anywhere)"

Green Industry Subsidies (suggested by Gastly)
Description: "A subsidy on industries that have a minimal impact on the environment. Proponents see this as a way to promote clean industry without the negative impact on the economy that a punitive pollution tax would have, while opponents will complain that this is an unnecessary distortion of the market, and a waste of money."

    Gaming Industry Subsidies
Description: "The gaming industry is a growing, high tech industry, and a subsidy would encourage it's development in our country. This will be seen as a distortion of the free market, and many parents will complain that their children spend too much time playing computer games already."

    Tourism Subsidies (suggested by samsilverman2524)
Description: "The government provides subsidies to tourism organizations, rising the tourism influx of the country."

High-tech products tax (suggested by fushroomman)
Description: "A tax applied on products made with high technology, such as smartphones, smart TVs,computer hardware, etc. Capitalists are heavily opposed arguing that this kind of tax not only would hurt the country's GDP,but also it's overall level of technology, while trade-unionists are relieved that their chances of being substituted by a machine in their jobs are lower."

NOTE: My mod will affect other mods simulations, for example the State Sciences Institute will increase electricity consumption introduced by Policies Pack, and will also affect the innovation simulation introduced by Economic Realism

SPECIAL THANKS
Rabid_IBM[VGA]: Helped a lot testing the mod, making sure it's balanced, and made some of the policies descriptions.

From what I can tell from comments, this mod is no longer worked on. But if im wrong or that changes I would suggest adding the option to dis-incentivise religiosity, I would title it "~state-suggested~ Atheism"

Anyone to confirm is this still works ?

If I may suggest a realistic policy that is clearly helping the poorest in society - a Tax Allowance Threshhold. A slider can determine what the minimum tax they have to pay or not at all if you are implementing a Flat Income Tax.

I got so confused with how the authors called organizations organs. Is it really that hard to type organizations?

After a recent update it seems that this mod no longer works. It doesn't crash, but none of the policies are visible, an update may be required.

Thanks for the great mod.
