In a remote desert, an unidentified object falls from the skies. A research organization known as G.E.R. has tracked and found the mysterious meteor: a capsule of organic material that brings an unknown life-form to our planet from the depths of space. Here begins the story of this impossible being, as it attempts to escape and survive on this strange, hostile world that we call home.

So begins Paradise Lost: First Contact, a 2D pixel art side scrolling adventure that focuses on a stealth / action type of play and takes elements from platformer and puzzle resolution. It's also based in nonlinear mechanics, taking reference from the classic metroidvania style of game.

- Explore a huge and complex map full of secret projects and situations that will keep you hooked
- Face different ways of progressing through the getaway, using stealth methods and action skills like mental manipulation, decoys, organic bombs and more
- Exciting platform challenges. Climb different surfaces and defy gravity laws!
- Amazing scenes full of immersive dialogues and situations
- Find rare items and expand your game experience collecting them
- Epic boss battles!

Coming soon to Kickstarter.

No need to panic or be harsh on them. Their official website has frequent updates (last was just a month ago) and as a pixel artist, it's an awesome Dev Blog. I'm confident this will be a game changer as the developers seem to have overcome some incredible obstacles in the 2D Pixel realm. They should take a second to update on here though!

So what's the issue with updates, huh guys? I'm really looking forward to this game, I've been following it (literally) for years now and still nothing. What gives?
