LGK Games would like to present Runers! - a top-down rogue-like dungeon shooter where you explore a dungeon and face fierce monsters and bosses. As you advance farther down the dungeon, you will gather Runes, which you may to combine into a total of 285 unique spells.

After selecting from thirteen unique races, each with a different passive ability, and twelve different classes, each with three subclasses offering different versions of a class ability, you descend into a dungeon of ten floors filled with enemies. Each enemy beaten has a chance to drop runes. You can combine one, two, or three runes to make different spells. For example, a Fire rune on its own would just make Kindle, while a Fire and Air rune would make Flame Devil. You can also add a rune to an existing spell to increase that spell's potency; for example, adding a Fire rune to Flame Devil will make the bullet go faster and do more damage. You can have up to four spells in your loadout that you can use at once, and up to three able to be stored in extra slots that can be switched out at any time. As you discover spells, your Runedex will slowly fill out with the information for each spell, including lore on its discovery or history of its usage in the world. Discover them all!

When you start the game, you will be going through ten randomly generated floors with a different number of rooms in each floor each time you play. These rooms can vary and have only enemies, have room-wide buffs such as blowing wind and hazards that you have to avoid, or have special events, such as avoiding all damage for a certain amount of time or killing enemies in a certain order.

Every three floors you face a boss, which is chosen from a pool of bosses for each boss tier (so floor three, floor six, and floor nine). These bosses all represent a certain rune, with that rune's features being exemplified and amplified. There is also a final boss on the final floor that will be a true test of your skills and your spell loadout.

Runes are what Runers is all about. The game is about using runes to make the spells that fit your chosen play style. Runes can be found after killing enemies, destroying destructibles, and completing floors and event rooms. You can combine any one, two, or three runes you find into a unique spell. With ten runes in the game, that adds up to a total of 285 unique spells. Runes can also be used to upgrade existing spells, such as increasing damage, range, or speed. Runes may also spawn with modifiers, such as -5% cooldowns, which will be applied to any spell that is created with that rune.

Spells are what every Runer uses. With 285 spells available, and a loadout of up to seven spells allowed at a time (only four active), you have copious builds available for use. Whether focusing on debuffing enemies or buffing the character, all of the spells are there for you to discover.

The Runedex contains information for all 285 spells in Runers. Here you can find out detailed information about spells and sort and filter based on their rune combinations, spell type, or various other stats. Within the Runedex, you can look through spells you have discovered to help build out your loadout.

Passive Ablities
There are twenty different passive abilities to choose from, each granting a unique effect to your character. Ranging from increased rune pickup efficiency, to passively shooting out bullets: Increased defense while in close range, and getting extra buffs from picking up health. Each ability changes your character in a different way to help you succeed in your run.

Active Abilities
There are twenty different active abliities to choose from when creating your character. Each ability tends to affect the gameplay in a different way than your standard spell by affecting your character in a unique way, or applying unique effects to existing spells. You can add bonus crit damage to your next spell casts, or summon undead minions to assist you.

When you kill enough enemies, you can level up and choose from a random pool of unique traits. These traits will alter the way you play the game by applying different effects to your character. These can range from making so you can gain extra speed on critical strikes, to having unique effects have a chance of happening on spell casts.

On floors three, six, and nine you will face a boss. There is also a final boss on floor ten. The bosses faced, with the exception of the tenth floor boss, are randomized. So on a second play through the first three bosses faced could be completely different than those defeated on the previous run.

Event Rooms
On every floor there is a room unlike the others, which will offer a unique challenge that if beaten, will allow you to get an upgrade to your character in the form of a permanent stat boost. These event rooms can range from protecting an ally, to avoiding all damage for a certain amount of time. Because each event room has the risk of damage and death, they are all optional, so it is up to you to decide to face the challenge or not.

Challenges and Achievements
There are numerous specifically designed challenges to be attempted outside of the normal game. These range from avoiding taking damage, to clearing a floor within a time constraint. Go for the best times, go for records! Like many popular games, achievements will also exist. Can you beat every challenge? Can you beat the game on the toughest difficulty? Show off your skill!

Difficulty Levels
Runers will sport ten difficulty levels. Runers will be hard. Very hard. On the toughest difficulty Runers will test the skill and willpower of even the most dedicated players. More destructibles, more hazards, more potent room buffs, and stronger enemies and boss upgrades await you on higher difficulties.

Randomly Generated Floors
Each floor is randomly generated, so no two play sessions will be the same. From the enemies that spawn, to the destructibles, room auras, hazards, etc, you can always count on a new experience. Enemies also may spawn with randomly increased stats, so no two Novice Light Mages will be exactly the same.
