Shouldn't stay the SAME after moving, but it sounds like you just need to Freeze Transformations, which is under Edit. Assuming you left the worm model in its default location, simply Freeze Transform with the hat the size and position you want, and it should work.

Okay so I have made the hat work and all but It's not scaled or orientated right. I used the worms references but it still don't fit right. Even when I change the size/position in maya the hat still stays the same

No I would just wan't to learn how to get them into the game since I know Maya and I have downloaded the editor.

Jabba, I'm happy to answer any specific questions you may have, but teaching Maya and MudBox is beyond my capacity.

With this hat u can do magic (or look like u can do magic)

Two things:

1. I love this hat.

2. Looks like the Black Mage's hat from Final Fantasy, which is not a bad thing at all.
