'The Saturn 9 Collection' is a survival horror game that consists of a collection of horror levels all set in the same sci-fi universe featuring the same protagonist but with different locations and stories to them.

The first level in the collection is called Saturn 9 and is set on a spaceship where you are sent in to uncover the mystery of what happened to the crew. This part was released as a standalone game on xbox live indie games and was very popular. The game freaked players out with atmosphere, story and hallucination sequences reminiscent of games like Fear and Eternal Darkness. The other levels in the collection take place at different locations and introduce different horrors. As a small Indie I can't really compete with large budget games in terms of content so I focus on a story, puzzles and atmosphere and the whole set would be sold as 'The Saturn 9 Collection' for a very low price.

About me, I am a solo full time indie developer with many years experience in the games industry (including working on Dead Space: Extraction). The majority of Saturn 9 was created by me alone but where I needed help I have hired people I know in the industry. I think the horror 'short story' idea is fantastic as it allows me to introduce new horrors and mysteries and I have many ideas that I'd love to do in this universe. I would love to see this game on Steam so please vote it up!

The game will run on an Intel Dual-Core 2.5GHz or AMD equivalent that has a video card that supports shader model 2. (e.g. Radeon HD4670 or better)

Some review quotes from the xbox 360 (single level) version:

'Saturn 9 deserves an award for outdoing the majority of its big-budget counterparts. Developer Raoghard has set a high standard for all survival horror games with Saturn 9's sophisticated design and mood.' -

'We were left wanting more and that’s not something you can say about every game.' -

'Visually it’s remarkably accomplished' -

'One of the best ‘cerebral horror’ adventures you’re likely to find on the indie channel' -

'Equal parts Slender, Dead Space, and Lifeforce with just a dash of Eternal Darkness are the ingredients that make up Saturn 9, and they produce a delicious little cocktail of insanity.' -

'Saturn 9 is easily the best horror adventure on XBLIG, and one every fan of the genre should play.' -

'Raoghard did an excellent job with this game, and I laud his ability to create a game which can scare me' -

'The climax of Saturn 9 scared me more than the entirety of Silent Hill: Homecoming or Shattered Memories. It’s scary because it is horror done simply and effectively' -

I played the Xbox 360 version at my friends' house yesterday and really really liked the game. My only problem with it was that there was a part of the game that ruined all the potential it had. Hopefully this game will be finished and greenlit soon. Question is, will we have to pay for it or is it going to cost money?
