[Prologue]

You thought you had the hardest part behind you when you entered that cab this morning.

You had just finished a run for United Oil - some ugly wetwork stuff - and were supposed to go to their arcology to pick up the other half of your pay.
It puzzeled you why they wanted you to come to their arcology. Usually megacorps like they are employ shadowrunners for the sake of being able to denie any connection to whatever they wanted done. It didn't make sense that they'd risk anyone seing you enter their building.

After you had arrived at the front desk and been led to a meeting-room by the friendly secretary, two huge Trolls came to join you.

At least you got one half of the payment.

'A Day on 27th Block' is a campaign for Shadowrun Returns made by me as a way to learn how to use the editor.

The features:
- dialog-centric campaign
- 7 unique places to explore
- dynamic dialog that (depending on your choices) can be different every time you play
- playtime: about 30 minutes
- for new characters and buffed-up characters alike

Please note that this campaign is still in beta, so there may be some bugs left (especially in terms of spelling and grammar, since I'm not a native-speaker). Should you find any I would be grateful, if you reported them to me.

In general I'd be incredibly happy if some of you took the time to check this thing out and told me what you think about it!

Hi, you're a shadowrunner... And this is Jackass.™

And just like the show, it's a fun little way to kill a half hour and some brain cells. Hooray!

@rondon1337: That's a really nice compliment! Glad you enjoyed it :D

Terrific send-up of recent pop culture. Thanks for putting the time into this well-written, complete story driven run.

@BallPtPenTheif: Haha, sounds like a great time indeed :D Thanks for the nice comment!

@ohmmega: I'm very glad you liked it! If you talk to the toe-guy before you get the enigmatic toe from CrazyB, he'll tell you that he's missing his toe and asks you wether you have seen it. Makes a bit more sense that way, even though I get your point that the start of the conversation is a little bit... abrupt.

@Koalabeere: Thank you! It's been great fun making this and seeing it rise up in the workhop for the last couple of days =)

very funny, liked it alot...I did have a question though..while talking to crazy Betty I got a toe..afterwards I ran into a fellow by the tents who greeted me with "oh you found my toe!" or some such..uh how did he know I had his toe? was I wearing it? maybe tossing it in my hands as I approached him? just curious <grin>

a great fun way to level up a new character. take the time, get in your car, drive to the liquor store, get a 40oz, come back home and boot up this silly shit and enjoy a well written campaign with a funny bone. time well spent.

This thing made me laugh a lot. I love it.
Not your typical run, but worth its time.
