An alternative version of my Dovahbit of Caerbannog mod, this time compatible with most follower mods
Check the collection above for the original mod.
You can run both mods at the same time to have not one but two awesome bunnies following you! Only the one which is lower on your load order will be able to wear headgear right now, however.

Where to find her:
Dragonsreach. She runs around a lot so, if you're having trouble finding her simply wait one hour in Farengar's study and she should pop up somewhere near.

If you can't find her, try to restart your game

Features
-Can wear hats!
-Small, doesn't get in the way
-Carries your stuff
-Will not fight but rather flee from combat
-Will not start combat, has a high stealth rating
-Can steal things for you
-Order her to harvest an ingredient and she will get 5 times as many ingredients

Perfect for stealth characters or if you find followers always get in the way but you need someone to carry stuff for you


Differences from the original Dovahbit:
-It's a talking rabbit
-Less buggy
-100% compatible with most companion mods
-It's a regular companion, not a pet

Dovahare is Dovahbit's apprentice. She wasn't particularly excited of being transformed into a rabbit. She had been asking her master to turn her back for the first few years and eventually just kind of gave up since Dovahbit is unable to pay attention to people talking to her for more than 5 seconds straight.

She's diligent and a 'party pooper' [quot. Dovahbit] and has been with her master for a few hundreds years by now. Maybe. She kind of lost count.

I found myself with 2 Dovahares at the same time, and here's how: I released my dovahare on the road S/W of Riverwood, she promised to return home, and I went on with my life. Much, much later I found her at (probably) the same spot, and feeling sorry for her all alone on the road I had her follow me to Dragonsreach whereupon I found an additional dovahare already living there. I could interact with either, albeit a bit glitchy with the 2nd one. Both would not actually follow me outside, just the one I added first, and when I released her, she returned to the spot where I first added her as a follower. Curious, no?

Dovahare won't follow me. Whenever I use the "Follow me" she/he just says lead the way and when i talk to her/him it just gives me the same option.

deselect the mod, run your save, quit game, select the mod to reactivate it, and load the save again.

I accidentally made dovahare stay in a restricted area and whenever I talk to her she says "We're not supposed to be here" so shes stuck there. I can't talk to her at all please help!

I'm having all kiinds of trouble with the mod not staying installed or initialized. Is she he same as the nexus version?

Hi, thanks for the mod, she's perfect for a stealth character such as myself! She occassionally gets confused and runs into battle alerting my enemies but generally keeps well away and I can tel her to stay back and safe when needs be ;D
Just a question: At my hearthfire House on Lakeview Dovahare offered to be my Steward, Would this work out of interest? Is Dovahare qualified to be a Steward :P:steamhappy:
