The Lungaris - a Rabbit-like Race

Rabbit Themed Mods

Beskrivelse
VERSION 1.1
-Added two followers and marriage partners, one male and one female. Find them respectively in the Silver Blood Inn in Markarth and Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood
-Removed leftover khajit complexion from female characters
-Fixed typo in racial bonus
-Changed "Lungaris" to "Lungari" in race selection

Adds a playable rabbit-like race, the Lungaris.

---Lore---
Natives of a small island off the coast of Valenwood, the Lungaris are a secluded population which generally avoids civilization. They live in small tribes of hunters and gatherers.
Despite their tall stature, they are extremely agile, have a faster regeneration to wounds and very sharp senses. They are skilled with a bow and blade but have difficulty in learning magic, although it is not unheard of specimen that mastered the arcane arts.

---Name---
The name is loosely based on the latin longus auris, long-eared.

---Traits---
-Faster running speed
-Increased health regeneration
-Low starting health
-Slightly decreased magicka regeneration
-Lesser power that detects living/dead, tagging them for 1-2 seconds
-Tall

Mainly suited for stealth/rogue characters, giving increased mobility and health regeneration perfect for evasion and hit and run tactics at the expense of base health

---Notes---
The head uses the Khajiit's helmet models, as such, there might be some clipping. Generally it shouln't be an issue however, as the shape is very similar

Females have facial hair because, well, it's hard not to when your face is already covered in
hair. Makes no sense not to have the option to make your character's face extra fuzzy! Males get to keep the mustaches though.

---Known Issues---
-Odd lighting on ears, particularly females (hard to notice for the most part)
-Ears clipping when actors use facial expressions (not an issue for player characters for the most part)
-Missing No Hair option
-Females do not have large buck teeth

---Future (possible) Additions---
-Earrings
-Presets
-Concentration-type spell version of the Sharp Senses power
-Making the hair and facial hair less floaty
-Stat balancing
-More NPCs scattered around the world
-Quests?

---Compatibility---
This mod uses quite a few khajiit assets, so anything that overwrites some
of the khajiit features (mainly body, eyes and hair) will also show up on them.

---FAQ---

Q: Is this based on the game Lugaru?
A: No, while it was an inspiration, the similarities in the name are a coincidence.

Q: Are you going to add large rabbit-like buck teeth?
A: They already do have them! Real rabbits do not usually have visible teeth when they have their mouth shut, unlike you might see in cartoons and the like.

Q: Are you going to add a tail?
A: No, for technical reasons aswell as personal preference.

Q: Will you make a version without floppy ears?
A: See above.

Q: Can you make their ears move when they change mood?
A: They already do, to a degree. Their facial expression files are that of the Khajiits so I currently have no control over them, and I don't plan to change for the time being.

Q: Will you add increased jump height?
A: Can't be done without SKSE, and I won't make it a requirement just for that.

I started a game using this race for more of a role play feel. Trying out a few skills I don't normally use. I like the sense life ability that it comes with and how well the race blends in to the base game. It's great fun to see them at some of the fishing camps and interact.

I've tried using commands to fix the vampire bug but to no avail. But I did find a way to fix another bug. Your left eye will sometimes turn black for some reason. Just wait, load the auto-save and then you eye will be fixed.

Also, sometimes other mods will cause this race to have a Khajiit tail for some reason. No idea why but eveything still works fine, your character is still Lungari, is customized they way you made them, and you still have you racial abilities. Now with a Khajiit tail.

I've done two full playthroughs of the game with this race. It works with every DLC but there are some issues you can completely avoid. You can become a werewolf without issue. But, you can't be a vampire. You lack the ability to feed on anyone, and no blood potions don't work. The Vampire Lord form works but killing anyone in this form with your abilities still doesn't feed you and Castle Volkihar will treat you as a mortal completey breaking the quest-line if you can't load a save. Side with The Dawnguard to complete the DLC and carry a Cure Disease Potion on you to avoid become a very bugged vampire. All the other quests lines work perfectly fine, just a heads up warning to those downloading this mod.

I never actually make comments on mods but this one actually made me have a bit more fun. I am doing a roleplay playthrough and this character added so much dimension to it. Just have to shink down a little bit though. It's a bit big for a bunbun.

Nicely made, though i would prefer a smaller version. But setscale does that. @ SirRust use command window: help “npc name” will get you the npc code than in command window: setessential ( code) 1. 0= nonessential 1= essential

not sure if it's just my game but the female follower isn't set as essential. Think you could give the ID so I can change that
