General Information.
We start out with the player's registration, which is done directly from the game's main splash page. When you click "Play" it pops up a window which asks you to register or login. Registration sends out a registration email. After logging in for the first time, the player must choose the faction for their first character – they will be presented with a page showing the six available factions. Clicking on one of the six displayed factions gives the player an overview of this faction. On a separate page the player can see a short description of the strengths and weaknesses of the faction. On this page, there is a "back" button which leads back to the faction overview and there is also a "Join" button which confirms the player’s faction choice and leads to the World Map. You are now ready to begin playing battles!

1.2 The World Map: quick overview
The World Map is the center of the game. Here you can, being part of one of the six factions, fight for world domination. The World Map is the place to be if you want to start battles, purchase more items and connect with other players. The most important signs and buttons are highlighted by red circles and squares on the image below.

The World Map shows the territories that are currently under attack. You can get a closer look at these territories and join the battle by clicking on the crossed swords icons.

At the center top of the World Map you will find three buttons. Clicking the ARMY button allows you to see and expand your army. Clicking the SUPPLIES button allows you to purchase more items. Clicking the FACTION button takes you to the world news tab on your faction summary page. On your FACTION page you can vote for your faction leader, check your ranking, and participate in powerful faction projects.

In the right top corner of the World Map you see your avatar, XP points and rank. Clicking this image takes you to your profile page.

In the bottom right corner of the World Map you see seven different icons. From left to right they take you to:
The battles page, where you can view and continue unfinished active battles;
You private messages and mailbox;
The chat;
Your profile page with avatar, statistics, and updates;
Your battlegroup page with members, comments and news;
The library for more information about March of War;
The settings page for changing resolutions, character and other options.

In the bottom left corner of the World Map you see the amount of gems, gold and research points you own. With these resources you can purchase units, command powers, technology, and more.

When clicking on a territory on the World Map that is under attack (indicated by a crossed swords icon) you zoom in to a page that shows you information about the current fight, where you can leave a comment or start a new battle in order to try to win the territory for your own faction.

There are a couple of battle icons you can click, though they won’t all be available until you reach a certain level:
Assault mission: capture all flags;
Blitz mission: short battle, destroy each other’s command vehicle;
Breakthrough mission: capture all flags in a certain amount of turns;
Siege mission: defend your command vehicle against the enemy;
PvP mission: play a mission against another player.

Other things to know about attacking territories, the Faction Leader, and High Command:
The Faction Leader votes are counted every two weeks;
If there are no votes for a Faction Leader, a new leader is selected randomly;
The number of (attacking) territory battles any given faction can have is not determined by the number of active players, it is static. Currently that number is three. Defensive territory battles (where other factions are trying to take over your faction's territory) do not count toward this limit;
Players are assigned to High Command weekly from the players with scores within the top 10% of their faction. There's a limit of 30 High Commanders per faction;
A player cannot be the Faction Leader and also be part of the High Command - in cases where a High Command player is selected as the faction leader (either through voting or randomly selected as described above), becoming Faction Leader takes precedence, and the player will be removed from High Command.

1.3 The Battles: quick overview
The core goal of the game is to battle against other factions (player versus player or against the AI/computer). A player can start new battles via the World Map and continue unfinished battles via the Battle Page button in the lower right of the screen. A player can choose to play one of five mission types each with different goals and gameplay options:
Assault mission: capture all flags;
Blitz mission: short battle, destroy each other’s command vehicle;
Breakthrough mission: capture all flags within a limited number of turns;
Siege mission: defend your command vehicle against a numerically superior enemy;
PvP mission: play an Assault or Blitz mission against another player.
When you enter a 3D battle you get to see a battle map where you can find different UI elements and gameplay options. The most important signs and buttons are highlighted in yellow on the next page.
In the top left corner the player can see what the objective of the game is;
In the middle of the top of the screen a player can click on the ARMY or SUPPLIES button to purchase more items. Clicking on FACTION brings a player to the faction page where he/she can see the latest world news and be part of projects;
In the bottom right corner is the current player, turn number, and the end turn button.
Also in the bottom right corner the player has access to the message tool, the chat tool, the profile page, the battlegroup page, the help page and the settings;
In the bottom left corner the player can see how many resources they have. Resources are used to deploy units and command cards. A player can get more resources by capturing flags that are on the map. The deploy menu allows a player to select and deploy units and command cards.

In every battle it is not only important to kill the enemy’s units by attacking or using abilities of your own units, but a player should also keep in mind the importance of taking capture points. Not only in order to win assault games, but also to earn resources with which a player can deploy more units and command cards. In order to unlock new units and command cards, or to increase the amount of units and command cards they own players should use their earnings from winning battles to progress through their faction’s research tree and buy more units/command cards using Gold or Gems.

A player can attack enemy units or use the abilities of their units by clicking the specific unit and click on one of the buttons that are shown around the unit. Every unit has two action points, so can act a maximum of two times per turn. Actions can be:
Moving;
Attacking;
Using an ability.

When a player wants to move a unit (cost: one action point), they have to select the unit by left clicking, and then move the unit by left clicking again on the desired space on the move overlay. See image on the left, or Chapter 4 for more details.

When a player wants to attack another unit (cost: all action points left), they have to select the unit by left clicking and left clicking on an attack reticule that shows up on enemy units in range that will be affected by the attack. See image on the right, or Chapter 4 for more details.
When a player wants their unit to use an ability (cost: all action points left), they have to select the unit by left clicking, left clicking on the ability icon and then left clicking on the icon that shows up on units that are in range of being affected by the ability (for example healing or a melee attack). See image on the left, or Chapter 4 for more details.

As said before, a player should capture flags in order to get more resources. Capturing can only be done by infantry units. A player will capture a neutral fl

Very well put Brian..all that you have mentioned happens to me and the "I hope they fix the balance thing" is right on! I do feel like im an ant and all my ant buddy's out there on the battle field fighting a pack of pitbulls. I can take 'em down...but it's a hell of a long and tedious fight. I still like the game thou...hope the bugs get stomped -peace

The game is ok, right now the big bug is your system crashing all the time. Make sure you exit out of the game after each battle, that seems to be the only solution at this time. Game still crashes trying to load battles even doing that. You are allowed 2 faction slots, so choose wisely, at this time there is no way to delete a faction you do not like and start over. Video was helpful if you never played before, but a bit short. That was what first 2 turns??? This is a war game, numbers are everything, keep spawning light infantry and overwhelm the enemy. Always keep at least 1 infantry unit around each resource point, no point just giving them to the enemy. I hope they fix the balance thing, right now when you start all you have is basic light infantry while the enemy, especially the computer will throw their entire tech tree at you and use command points every battle. Gets old pretty fast using militia against tanks.
