DESCRIPTION:

I'm absolutely terrible at remembering where things are. Probably because there is just so much in Skyrim. The problem I had was not knowing if there was a camp close by that I could sleep over night in. I try not to use fast travel if I can avoid it but not knowing meant I traveled to the closest town to sleep, eat, drink, and be merry! So I printed out a paper map and started marking down everything I came across. Before starting my next play through, I thought it would be great to get rid of the paper and put everything on the In-Game Map.

I have put in all the City, Campsite, and Shrine markers from my paper map. I still have a ton of things marked down if this Mod is popular enough I'll add the rest, but for now, the essential items are here.

All Markers must still be Discovered (same as all default markers) before showing on the Map.

Thanks All!

MAP MOD and TWEAKS:

Since a few people have asked, the map mod I'm using is from the Skyrim Nexus:
A Quality World Map - With Roads by IcePenguin
The version I specifically use, is: Hi-Res Quality World Map - All Roads
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4929#content

I also use some INI tweaks to clear out the Clouds, and allow me to Zoom in closer and out farther, as well as allowing me to turn the camera a full 360 degrees.
This file is located in your: c:\Users\[yourusername]\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.INI
This is NOT SkyrimPrefs.INI

If the MapMenu section doesn't exist, just add it to the end of the file:

[MapMenu]
sMapCloudNIF=0
fMapWorldYawRange=3600.0000
fMapWorldMaxHeight=130000.0000
fMapWorldMinHeight=5000.0000
fMapWorldZoomSpeed=0.0750
fMapLookMouseSpeed=3.0000
fMapZoomMouseSpeed=15.0000
bWorldMapNoSkyDepthBlur=1
fWorldMapDepthBlurScale=0

SHOWING ALL MARKERS:

A handy console command to show all map markers:
TMM 1,0,1

This will show all map markers, but they are still undiscovered. This is the exact same as the Major Cities showing on the map when you start a new game. You can see them, but you must still travel to them to open up Fast Travel.

I have seen some places say this command is: "TMM 1,0,0" (without the quotes) but I have never used it this way and I'm not sure what the difference is.

Dude that is so cool how you added the misc. areas and camps... Those are so hard to come by when your just stinking to the roads!! Youve really helped me out thx :)

Does the map colour change to the one in the first picture when the mod is installed, or is that a separate mod that you'd have to download?

When adding markers, the 2nd parameter determines if the ones you add are set as discovered (1, default) or not (0), and the 3rd is all (1) or all but hidden (0,default) (e.g., to add all undiscovered markers without fast travel, enter tmm 1,0,0).

in the citys to de clutter the map a litle maybe not have a marker for each store or house but only indiviual one that arnt in the mian areas, and have markers like market district and residentual district near the rest

great to have, but it needs work. you almost need to run into a building to get the mapmarker, which is bad. Also the map markers places you where you shouldn't be and there for could get you into trouble (note for the author: use heading markers to solve this issue)

I don't think the Thalmor are doing a very good job considering the shine of Talos is most abundent of all

Love the mod but i noticed a double map marker its a marker you placed at a destroyed house but the dawnguard DLC has placed a marker there (red water den) just a heads up :p
