Left 4 Dead 2 Beginners Guide

This is the Left 4 Dead 2 guide for the basic of beginners.

Main Controls

Move: W A S D

Left click to shoot
Right click to shove

Press R to reload the current weapon your holding

Scroll once to change weapons/items
or press Q for fast weapon switch

While holding a health kit, hold left click to heal your self or right click to someone your pointing to heal that player (Heals you/others)

While holding a pipebomb/bottle, left click to throw

While holding a medication, left click to take that med. (Gives you temporary health)

Press E for use
Like a example you see a health pack on the ground press E to pick it up
or if you see a weapon laying down press E to pick it up and use

Gamemodes

Campain
This is pretty much the default. This is not like Single player just like playing multiplayer campain.
Realism
Same as Campain but more realistic
Versus
There are 2 teams in the gamemode the survivors and the infections. They change after completing or failing a level.
Realism Versus
Same as versus gamemode but more realistic
Survival
Test your skills on how long you can survive in a small area
Scavenge
As survivor they need to fill the gas can into a gas tank
As infected they need to avoid them filling up the gas tank
If infected win they will be still infected next round
If infected loses the survivors goes into infected

Special Infections

Spitter
She spits acid do not step in them
Hunter
They jump high and goes fast. Watch out for them as they jump around until he catches a survivor
Smoker
Be aware of his tounge as he has a long tounge that if your front of them he can twist his tounge around your body
Boomer
Just a fat dude vomits on survivors to get the zombies attionation
Jockey
He rides around survivors head
Tank
He is the most powerful infected. Big health and he can throw cars and rocks from the ground.
Charger
One arm he was is a big arm which he stomps with his hand to break the survivors back
Witch
She crys around but be aware do not shoot her or put a flashlight of else she will attack you and when she ripps you once your down but not dead

The goal of the game

Campain
Try to find your way to the safehouse without dieing from the horde. or if your on the last level, try to reach the recuse spot without dieing from the zombies
Realism
Same goal as Campain
Versus
As survivor same thing as Campain but watch out for special infected
As infected try to kill the survivors and avoid them completing the levels
Realism Versus
Same thing as Versus
Survival
Survive long as you can
Scavenge
As survivor avoid getting killed from the infected and fill up the gas tank
As infected avoid the survivors from winning

Well, a little constructive criticism.
Look more into gamemodes
For example, Realism mode is what the game was built for, making it one of the most challenging and fun gamemodes there is in the L4D series.
