If you ever hated followers and summoned creatures for triggering traps, getting both of you into a tight situation or you were trying to guide them around the pressure plates, then this mod is for you.
This mod changes few base scripts and as a result your followers and summoned creatures should no longer trigger bear traps, pressure plates and trip wires.


- Works with all followers and summoned creatures, even those from other mods.
- Works with all deadly trap mods.
- Conflicts with other mods if they change the same scripts (TrapTriggerBase and TrapBear scripts).
- Followers and summoned creatures might trigger traps from other mods if custom trap scripts are used by the author.

Revision 2:
- Added support for commanded actors (e.g. summoned creatures).

I lost Lydia to a fire trap that only shot fire when you stood on it, she just sat on it for about a minute until she died D:

Could you possibly do a mod of this for FO3 and or FO: NV plz? It'd be nice to not have your followers set off bear traps, trip wires, mines, etc...

Awesome - thank you so much. Just went through Bleak Falls Barrow for the umpteenth time and it was the first time that Faendal didn't eviserate himself with the swinging spiked door trap. Looking forward to less facepalming in the near future. :) Thanks again!

Makes you wonder why Bethesda didn't make followers evade traps. I think I've only had Serana trigger one since I use this mod- admittedly, it was a tight squeeze if you avoid on foot. The dog doesn't even trip them (Bran). If you want a mod idea- I tried a mod off here supposedly keeping the husky dogs alive (no matter what), doesn't work and modder is m.i.a. on answers (tried w/others to see is he/she could fix). If you don't want to, I'll ask the one that made Vigilance essential- that one worked- but I prefer the husky breed.
