I feel like non combat skills (or at least tradeskills.. enchanting, smithing and alchemy) should even FURTHER reduce the amount of xp towards your player level, if not be reduced at all.. is is possible that this is something you could add or work on separately? YOu see, I like making my own ebony, dragonbone armor and whatnot.. but I dont want my first 40 character levels spent just on crafting, if you catch my drift..
