Description
Compatible with 3.*.

This graphic mod improves the representation of the empire and the border color. It contains different changes, which other mods already do. This mod put these changes slightly adjusted by myself altogether in one mod.

The changes:

- Swapped empire fill color and border color: primary and secondary color swapped.
- Saturation of the fill color is at 75% of the original value.
- Thinner Borders: 60% of the original value of the border thickness.
- Sector fill color saturation is at 50% of the original value.

For the same mod without darker galaxy core, click here.

This mod is inspired by the following mods:
Cleaner Sectors
Thinner Borders
Supreme Borders
Swapped Primary/Secondary Border Colors

Hello Mr_Tea_Rexx,

I don't understand your question. Do you mean the sectors? Because the empire name will be displayed on the galactic view. The sectors have the issue, that a new sector gets its name from the "homeplanet" of that sector. But you can change that via the sector menu or by clicking on the sector in the outliner.

does anyone know of a mod that fixes the borders to use the empire name and not the name of the homeworld planet

Hello Saber,

thank you for your appreciation. I'm glad, I could help you with the same issue I had with the borders and colors.

May not mean much, but your work here cured all my issues with borders and colors. I always thought i'd have to settle in order to get what I wanted from borders and colors for empires, but you have fixed all of my issues to a T. Thanks!

Hello peter_de123,

thank you for your feedback. If the version number is 3.0.*, I have to update every major patch like 3.1 or 3.2. With 3.* the system normally understands, that it is irrelevant, which following patch is used. Also my gamelauncher doesn't show any problem with 3.*. But I have the error message, too. I would suggest, as long as it doesn't crash the game, that you can just ignore the issue. I play old mods from the time of 1.* and they still work, too.

Hi,

there is a little problem with the version number. You have to write the version number with a zero, like this: 3.0.*

There is also an error message in User\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\logs\error.log for this
( [dlc.cpp:344]: Invalid supported_version in file: mod/ugc_1351925726.mod line: 6 )

This has always been an isse, I remember when 2.0 came out, I had exactly the same problem.
