Description
IMPORTANT: v4.5 Dawnguard Required, however you must manually delete Vampireoverhaul.bsa file if its still in your skyrim data folder. If you don't remove this file the feed script will be bugged. You should only have VampireOverhaul.esp in your data folder, no .bsa file.

Non-Dawnguard Users: If you don't use Dawnguard use v4.3 found in the optional files section. on the nexus link: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11487/ (make sure u unsubscribe or the game will just replace v4.3 with v4.5).

I have overhauled the vampire gameplay in skyrim adding proper ranks and strength progression (magic, bow & melee, includes vamp perks).

RANKS
(ranks are based on number of "necks bitten" which is tracked in general stats)
-Newborn - +2% physical & destruction damage, +2% speed, +0.25% combat regen increase (regen per tick)
-Neonate(over 25bites) - +4% physical & destruction damage, +4% speed, +0.5% combat regen increase (regen per tick)
-Ancilla (over 50bites) - +6% physical & destruction damage, +6% speed, +0.75% combat regen increase (regen per tick)
-Ascendant (over 100bites) - +8% physical & destruction damage, +8% speed, +1% combat regen increase (regen per tick)
-Elder (over 200bites) - +10% physical & destruction damage, +10% speed, +1.25% combat regen increase (regen per tick)
-High Elder (over 500bites) - +12% physical & destruction damage, +12% speed, +1.5% combat regen increase (regen per tick)
-Ancient (over 1000bites) - +20% physical & destruction damage, +15% speed, +3% combat regen increase (regen per tick)

VAMPIRE PERKS (no perks version can be found at nexus)
(All perks require you to be a vampire)
Two hand - Vampire Overlord - Gives all 2h power attacks a 10% chance to proc a tremor causing 500 damage.
One hand - Vampire Duelist - Gives all 1h power attacks a 5% chance to proc a void causing 500 damage.
Bow - Vampire Deathdealer - Gives all bow shots a 5% chance to be infused causing 500 damage.
Destruction - Vampire Bloodmage - Provides FrostDrain channel spell: 30 frost, 30 health leach, 20 manapersec base. Both components of this spell scale with frost damage increasing effects, spell also benefits from deepfreeze perk and provides standard frost spell rundebuff.

VAMPIRE RESILIENCE
(new vamparism buff, replacing some old ones)
- 100% resistance disease, 100% resistance poison, +100 carry strength

VAMPIRE HUNGER
(new vamparism stage system)
-Stage1 (Blood Filled)- +6% physical & destruction damage, 100% frost resistance, -25% fire resistance
-Stage2 (Sated)- +4% physical & destruction damage, 75% frost resistance, -50% fire resistance
-Stage3 (Hungry)- +2% physical & destruction damage, 50% frost resistance, -75% fire resistance
-Stage4 (Starving)- 25% frost resistance, -100% fire resistance, Blood Sense Spell added

SUNLIGHT SYSTEM
-Stage1 - No vitals regen, -15 vitalstats, (Ascendant and above are immune to regen debuff)
-Stage2 - No vitals regen, -30 vitalstats, (Elder and above are immune to regen debuff)
-Stage3 - No vitals regen, -45 vitalstats, (High Elder and above are immune to regen debuff)
-Stage4 - NPCs are hostile, No vitals regen, -60 vitalstats, (Ancients are immune to regen debuff)

GENERAL CHANGES
-Vampires can breath underwater
-Dreadcloak buff unlocked for all stages
-Vampire Seduction calms up to lvl 50, spell added to all stages
-Vampiric Drain absorbs 20/15/10/5
-Vampire's Sight is a toggle
-Embrace of Shadows has muffle effect, spell added to all stages
-Vampire Servant can be raised from up to a lvl 80 corpse with infinite duration
-Sunlight affects vampires from 6am to 7pm
-Blood sense spell is available at stage 4
-Champion of the Night has been combined with Vampiric Blood Affinity
-Vampire Female Eyefix for human races

NOTE: If you are already a vampire you will need to advance vamparism 1 stage (not feed for a bit) and then feed to get the updated skills etc. Ensure you have a clean save if you have used previous vamp mods.

does anyone know how to make the sun do constant slow damage to vampires again? I love this mod but I liked the threat of the sun killing me and also the vampire questline to blot out the sun seems silly when all sunlight does is make you only twice as powerful as a human instead of 10 times. I mean if sunlight didnt kill them the vampires would have taken over already sunlight or not

The only thing stopping me from downloading this is 5% 500 damage, but it otherwise looks awesome.

just curious...I have a character that just became a vampire at Volkahir. and EVERYONE is attacking me for no apparent reason. Is this a bug, or is it conflicting with another mod?

Nevermind, Found the fix. It was the glitch with the LockedIn_var = True. Fixable in the console and occurs to many people without this mod.

It seems this mod has glitched my Serana. I had left her in Breezehome and quested without her. While still questing, I installed the mod and went back to find her gone. She was back in Volkihar without the option to have her come with me anymore. Anyone else run into anything similar? I know she glitches without the mod but nothing like this happened before I installed it.
