Bundle In A Box
Along Came A Spider is a puzzle/platformer that I wrote a while back for xbox indie games. I realized recently that it might be a good game for Steam so I've updated it for PC. If Greenlit it would only cost a few dollars, the PC version is ready now and I would be bringing it to Mac and Linux as well.

Minimum spec is XNA Reach profile, that is a Windows PC with a DirectX 9 GPU that supports at least shader model 2.0.

Here are some quotes I found about the xbox version:

"Along Came A Spider is like a music video or a dancer. Simple snapshots make it look alright, but in motion and with its amazing soundtrack ACAS is a creature of beauty. If you're looking for a good platformer on the 360, this one should be near the top of your list."

"Amusing physics platformer. know what simple vector art and a lot of talent can accomplish, and this game is no exception to that rule. Needs to be experienced! 9/10."

"I found Along Came a Spider to be a charming little game, and give it a Buy rating." 4/5.

"The mechanics of swinging from strands of silk and performing acrobatics just to get from one platform to another are interesting and feel very natural. Like most of the games in the Indie Games channel, the graphics and sound are very simplistic but also very beautiful."

"Indie Game Along Came a Spider: A Soothing, Enjoyable Platformer"

"Along Came a Spider is a brilliant platformer."

"well worth it for its originality, simple and deep gameplay, and overall fun and challenge factors. In my opinion THE best platforming game on the Indie Games list."

"Along Came A Spider is one of the stronger titles on xbox live indie-games, and can be easily considered one of the best platformers on xbox live, among dozens that don't stand out like this one."

"The graphics here are also very good. From the music to the scream of horror that comes from the bosses when they see the spider. ... Get the game, play it, have fun."

"gameplay implements some nice physics unseen before in jump´n runs. I liked the game even better than Pixel – and that means something."

"The game is very simple to grasp, but its quality comes through in the polish on the game, the ease of enjoy, and the casual take on platforming"

"it´s the clever level design and often the little tricks you need to apply to get the flies that kept me glued to my pad with this game."

Please remove the game from Greenlight, if its not releasing. At least do that. Dont just ignore things and not posting status updates. Either make an update or remove it

Help! The video has hypnotized me! I would play this game forever IF it has controller support. I would settle into my couch and be the spider I always knew I could be if given half a chance. But I would not enjoy it nearly so much if I were forced to use a keyboard and mouse, like at work. Ick.
