Description
Mistel 2, a Focke-Wulf Fw-190 and a modified Junkers Ju-88.

The Mistel was an idea for a composite bomber aircraft designed in 1942, and used in 1944. A fighter was to be attached to the top of a medium bomber that was stuffed with explosives. The bomber, being unmanned, would become a flying bomb. The fighter could escort the bomber to a target, and release the bomber to crash into its target and detonate. Many different aircraft were used in this project, the first being with a Bf-109 and a Ju-88. Later variants used a Fw-190. A Me-262 over a Ju-287 variant and a He-162 over an Arado E.377A variant were proposed, but never built. Close to 250 examples of the Mistel were produced before the end of the war.

I just made a discovery. This plane is amazing at tricking homing / guided missiles. When you release the JU-88, the missiles divert and track towards the giant flying bomb, allowing the fighter to get close and dive bomb. 9/5

hey you should build the XC-99

Previousbuild is what should work if you want to go v.45a, but I'm not sure why it's not working for you

Also, im not entirely sure how to change the version, modpage said that you can chage the version with the beta feature but it just says previousbuild which does not seem to work. Help with this too?

None of the old mods work in the current version. I use version .45a to build right now.

Do download mods, I downloaded Spaar's modloader, and out the AssemblyUnityScript in the Managed folder, and then I created a Mods folder in the Besiege_Data folder, and placed the modloader's .dll file in there. Then, I just download any of the mods I want off of the forums, and place their .dll files in the Mods folder. If there are any Resources folders included, they also go in the Mods folder

I just want to know how to download mods to help with building. I've tried a bunch of things yet they either wont load, or they wont work properly...

@TerrorByte, I tried to keep this realistic. In the real life Mistel, the fighter had control over the bomber until it was released. Once it was released, the fighter would have no control over the Ju-88. You have to line it up before releasing it.
