Each number represents ranking in comparison to the other characters--4 being highest, 1 being lowest. The numbers do not represent units of any kind.

Dustman (blue):

  • Fall Speed - 3
  • Light Attack Range - 3
  • Heavy Attack Range - 2
  • Attack Speed - 2
---
  • main character, maps are most likely to be based around him
  • attacks are nearly identical to Dustgirl's, except for difference in range
______________

Dustgirl (red):
  • Jump Height - 3
  • Fall Speed - 3
  • Light Attack Range - 2
  • Heavy Attack Range - 3

  • speed is most noticeable during slope boosts
  • slightly faster fall speed than the rest of the characters
  • begins to fall faster after she reaches her jump peak
______________

Dustkid (purple):
  • Jump Height - 2
  • Fall Speed - 2
  • Light Attack Range - 1
  • Heavy Attack Range - 1
  • Attack Speed - 4
---
  • has ability to triple jump

______________

Dustworth (green)
  • Jump Height - 4
  • Fall Speed - 2
  • Light Attack Range - 4
  • Heavy Attack Range - 4
  • Attack Speed - 1
---
  • jump height makes Dustworth ideal for climbing quickly or finding shortcuts
  • long attack range means Dustworth can spend more time away from dust surfaces
______________

Notes:
  • Fall speed is identical to boost speed i.e. slope boosting and ground boosting. Therefore, Dustman and Dustgirl can often run faster than Dustkid and Dustworth
  • Each attack has its own specific range and direction

Man, I'd never even realized the characters had different stats. I just used Dustworth because I liked how the character looked. I was probably making getting a good time on a few levels a little harder than they needed to be (and some other levels easier). Thanks for pointing this stuff out.

Very well made guide! I appreciate all the effort and time put into it! For someone who has 10+ hours on the game I didn't realize any of this. Dustkid is my favorite charecter. :D
