As time goes by...
Hello dear community!

Almost a year passed since I last updated this page. This happened simplay because very few people were interested in this project. This page's statistics were (and still are) quite shocking!

However, keep in mind that anyone who wants to get further updates of this project (and the program, ofcourse) can simply post a comment of what he or she would like to have changed/added to the code. I surely won't invest all of my time developing this project (as there are other projects I am working on, too) but I am willing to improve this program as you, the community, wish.

If there are any questions or anything else, feel free to post a comment! And please share this project within your social networks if you want it to get more attention, more updates and more features!

Best regards,
Mo. aka X-Zat [Developer]

What would you like to change or add?
Hello dear community!

If you were I - What would you like to change or add to this program?
My goal is to improve this program to make it the best monitoring software. There's just one problem: At this state of development, my needs are satisfied. I got nothing to change left. Well, I am working at translations to french and russian but that's no big deal.
I guess some of you downloaded my program and tested it out. Maybe, some of you even use it regulary. And maybe, if I'm just really lucky, you'd like to change or add something.
  • New icons?
  • Themes?
  • Advanced settings?
  • Different graph-styles?

If you have anything to say about this, please write a comment and let me know! :)

Also...

... I'm about to finish a new BETA-version to test out. It includes French language and minor bugfixes. In addition to this, you will be able to start PerfM0n minimized, without loading and saving graphs by starting it via the EXE - This introduces independence of start-parameters and the advanced use of the "settings.xml".

If you really like this project...

... then please share the project-link on facebook, twitter & co. You know, I just don't have enough time to spend full-time on this project. But: The more users help me improving this project, the more time I'll spend working on it.

(In case of you just didn't understand parts of this text I want to apologize forbad grammar and other mistakes I do using the English language: I'm German and I'm still learning English...)

- Mo.

Description
PerfM0n - Simple and user-friendly performance-monitoring

PerfM0n provides monitoring of the usage of your processors, network-devices, hard-drives and your main memory (RAM). In addition to this, you can setup monitoring of ping-requests.

You sure know situations like: Lags ingame, high pings, games running slowly, long loading-screens.
So what do you do when you come across these problems? You may google for them, try out different resets or just waiting for them to disappear.
Now there is a lot easier way to find out what's wrong: PerfM0n.

You can create many graphs showing you different devices from the categories mentioned above and you are able to customize their appearance, the number of values to show, the update-interval, data-logging and many more options!
This program is designed to help you finding the source of your problems ingame. As a developer, you can use PerfM0n to watch how your own program affects the system's performance.

Well, I actually do not invest any time into this project anymore because there were too few people being interested in this project (excuse my English-skills, please). I do however still have the project files and in the last few months I made some improvements to the code (there were some errors...). And as there is other software that replace this project, I gave up the work. Anyway, I am happy about every single hint, advice or comment! If anyone wants further updates for this project, I am willing to do this as this project really took much time and means quite a lot to me. (Hint: Months ago, I planned a feature where one graph would monitor multiple categories of performance for one process. This way you could watch a game, program or whatever you would like to take a deeper look at.) I appreciate your interest in this project!

Is this project still being worked on? Seems like it's been 11 months since the last update.

Giving it an upvote to get it some attention.

I like the idea, just concerned that certain games or companies may not allow certain types of monitoring by users for security reasons. Upvote and good luck to you.
