Is Space Shock dead? Not yet!
Description
Space Shock is an RPG game.
Space Shock is a Sci-fi RPG game.
Space Shock is a Sci-fi Dungeon Crawler.

Are you fan of RPG games and especially dungeon crawlers? Have you ever asked yourself why most of the dungeon crawlers are set in fantasy worlds and only a few in Space?
Why not replace a sword with an assault rifle, a hammer with a shotgun, an axe with submachine gun or a dagger with a pistol?
Why not crawl through huge space ships instead of dungeons, a research base on the Jupiter’s Moon – frozen Europa instead dark forests? Why not fight with heavy robots instead of dragons, aliens instead of trolls, mutants instead of skeletons?
Take your party of three Space Smugglers and Pirates and explore the secrets of ship wrecks and bases to figure out what is happening in the cold and endless Space.

Play this revolutionary sci-fi dungeon crawler and enjoy everything you liked in Mass Effect, Dead Space, System Shock 2, Space Hulk, Hired Guns and Aliens movie.

Main features:

- 5 unique classes:
Soldier (Tank/physical damage dealer)
Adept (Supporter/Healer/PSI damage dealer)
Engineer (Tech specialist/explosions specialist/disabler)
Sentinel (PSI damage dealer)
Mercenary (Physical damage dealer/Assassin)
- 3 talent trees (specializations) for each class,
Soldier (Bodyguard, Gunner, Marine)
Adept (Medic, Restorer, Guardian)
Engineer (Sapper, Constructor, Electrician)
Sentinel (Scientist, Elementalist, Conjurer)
Mercenary (Sniper, Assassin, Hunter)
- 5 weapon types: assault rifles, shotguns, submachine guns, pistols and
heavy weapons (rocket/grenade launchers, flame throwers)
- Deadly enemies both robotic (robots, mechs, droids, sentry turrets…) and
organic (aliens, mutants, humanoids…)
- powerful bosses with unique abilities (teleportation, stuns, mind control, spawn minions)
- a revolutionary (for dungeon crawler) combat system mostly based on abilities of the party members
- all enemies have unique anti-hit’n’run abilities (long range/AoE stuns and immobilize, teleportation…),
it is always better to fight than run
- a friendly and ergonomic control system based on shortcuts
- hundreds of items (weapons, equipment, consumables…)
- spell system, based on memorized PSI Powers cast from action bars,
six shared class spells and three additional unique spells for each specialization
- Split party feature. You can control full party or split the party into smaller groups and switch between the groups.
- intriguing story, unexpected story reversals, several story lines and ends
- NPCs traders, quest givers, the remains of the crew…

Soon on Kickstarter!

@Zaspath...We really appreciate the fact, there are still people who are interested in this game, which is really good. We are probably not the best with Kickstarter campaigns so we don't plan to make a new one. There will be an announcement in September about the future of the projects and playable demo will be published in that announcement. The demo is ready now but we have decided to publish it after this summer. Many thanks for your comment, we appreciate it. Cheers.

@Jonsnow ... I think you've got some solid content for a kickstarter here already, what's the progress report for 2016? Very keen to back this, I'm a big fan of the Amiga classics, Captive, Xenomorph etc, this would scratch and itch I haven't been able to satisfy in a long time.

mbpopolano24: I would like to apologize to everyone who is still interested in this project and needs to wait too long, for delay. Fortunately it's not dead. Hope you will be available to try it as soon as possible.

Hug_E_Bear42: This is still in development. Space Shock is too far not to let people to try it. For more info, please, see my previous comment.

Is this still active and in development? my guess is no, as theres been no news for some time, but in saying that, I'd have flocked here sooner had it not flown under the radar.

vykrom: good news, you are not late for this party. I would rather not promise when this is out, our jobs do not allow us to work as much as we would like but it will happen soon. You can find some screenshots from UE4 in the screenshot section to compare visuals. Stay tuned.

Late to the party, as I just randomly stumbled across this out of curiosity if there were any sci-fi dungeon crawlers out there. Turns out there really aren't many. I love that you guys wish to fill this void. And the concept prototype looks fantastic. I wholeheartedly support your endeavors. And if there comes another Kickstarter, I will be there
