Start Place - Configurble Town in a Box

Description
This mod is designed to facilitate easy mod testing, but can be used by anyone. Start with an upgraded hostel, warehouse, trade fair, well, bakery, weaver, sawmill, furnace, 2 kilns and smithy. You can choose the number and demographics of your starting population and contents of the warehouse, trade fair and hostel. You can also set game-wide limits on upgraded hostel population and on warehouse and trade fair capacity. Default numbers should give you more than enough to build one of any building (and possibly one of each), the population with which to do it and more than enough supplies that they can concentrate on building..

Not without editing the mod. That said , if you removed everything between
local Hostel_upgrade = self:createBuilding('Hostel_upgrade', startPosition + Vec2(0, 12), 1)
and
self:createBuilding('SchoolUpgrade', startPosition + Vec2(0, -14), 3)

end
from town_in_box_configurable_startplace.lua you'd be left with a mod that starts without buldings and should, I think (I haven't tested it so I don't know if something will give the game caniptions), ignore all buildings without problem and lets you set the number of people you want. If you do that you'll need something like my small stockpile mod that gives you warehouse capacity in order to play because you probably won't be able to build anything without a warehouse equivalent. You could also leave the warehouse code alone and choose 0 for all contents in the options which would leave you with an empty, usable building.

Can I set it to only spawn in the villagers?

This is very helpful for testing mods/game mechanics without worrying about creating your own town first. Well done and thank you.

I just tested all of the jobs and they were fine. If you haven't already done so and you used the default settings you'll probably need to increase the limits as some of the items are over the default limits in the game.
