Swapping Files

In order to find the Music Files for Speedrunners, go to your steam library, and right click on speedrunners, go to properties, local files, browse local files, and into content, audio, and then finally music.

you're gonna want to keep this tab open

Once you're on the site, you're going to want to select your files and then click on the option that says ogg



once you've selected ogg

convert your files and wait for them to finish converting, download them and keep them on your desktop or folder

if you have VLC, you can listen to the ogg's and determine which ones you want to swap

when you know which ones you want to swap, you're going to name the music you converted to the corresponding track

let's say i want to replace the menu music with something more serene. im gonna take a song i like, convert it to ogg, and then rename it to ' Track 03 - Menu ' exactly, once i drag the file in, it's going to say that there are two files with the same name, and it will ask if you want to replace it, you're going to want to do that so yes, replace it. after you've replaced it, the Menu music will be different on start up.

It's very simple and shouldn't take you very long

Change Quick Chat Messages (Client-Side Only)

there isn't much use or purpose for this but it's mainly just for the player to use if he wants but you can change your quick chat commands very easily

follow this or, just go to the localisation folder which is in your SpeedRunners Content Folder

scroll down until you find these

once you find them you can edit them however you like, as you can see I already edited mine.

this is simply cosmetic to the player

other

- Make a new folder to hold all the tracks that you've converted into ogg

- if they are all still in that same folder, you can drag all of them in at once and replace each track instantly.

- yes, this works in multiplayer

- if you want all the original tracks back, just verify the cache of speedrunners and it'll return to normal

or you can have a backup of the original songs in another folder

- mix and match to your heart's content

it's an option you can do yes, but some people like to have their own custom music
