Description
Annoyed by constant rolling 0's against enemy 9's during combat? Are you sure you would have won that crucial battle if it wouldn't be that meddling RNG kids?

This mod potentially can change this - it removes the random factor in combat, by making all the rolls count as 0, and 'baking' in 5 roll (slightly above the average roll - perfect average would be 4.5) in unit pips.

Naval combat however is rebalanced and changed, and in this case it's impossible to replicate naval combat 1:1 with admirals having the same effect/results as before. As such - naval combat damage without having any admiral pip advantage is ~60% of what would be in old case, however each admiral pip advantage have much greater effect. (3 times as much as it used to be), so admiral with 1 pip advantage will deal the same damage as 1 pip advantage in old naval situation.

Damage % compared to what would be in old system assuming '4' roll is 100%. Value after // is what would be in old system

No pip advantage - 60% // 100%
1 pip advantage - 120% // 120%
2 pips advantage - 180% // 140%
3 pips advantage - 240% // 160%
4 pips advantage - 300% // 180%
5 pips advantage - 360% // 200%
6 pips advantage - 420% // 220%

As such, there is greater importance to admirals in this system.

WARNING: During testing I also I did find out that galleys in EU4 in non-inland seas, not only do not get damage bonus against non-galleys, but also get penalty to damage (equal to -2 roll). As such galleys in this mod without admirals are completely inept when it comes to naval combat in non-inland seas, and they will still underperform there even with good admiral.

(Advantage of this naval testing is I'm 95% sure I found naval combat formula.)

MOD IS NOT 'IRONMAN'-COMPATIBILE, which means it will not allow to get achievements. Mod will be probably incompatibile with most overhaul and gameplay altering mods.

Would this work with Common Universalis? I don't recall it touching combat.

The mod should work with 1.25 as looking at the files the unit files haven't been edited sine like october 27th last year and this mod was last updated on January 17th this year.

So that means the mod should still work 100% fine with the current patch.

Thanks for finally removing the random nonsense shit combat, its been my biggest hatred since EU III and Victoria 2, Hearts of Iron the random factor does not exist and it makes combat vastly superior to anything I ever played as strategy games come.
