Description
This mod was my first major quest mod. I am not working on it anymore, but I will incorporate Andario's story into my new Anna NPCS.

This quest is fully voiced, with cleaned audio, and has also been TES5edit-cleaned.

THE QUEST:

Meet a Wood Elf in Solitude's Winking Skeever, and find out what brought him to Skyrim. If you offer to help him in his quest, he will accompany you. The quest will lead you to the source of a mysterious message, a story of unrequited love turned to scorn and revenge. Uncover the truth and bring peace to a grieving widow.

Andario is a romantic, a rogue, and a lover of good stories. He tells you the Bards College drew him to Solitude. He has his own view on things; you can read his journal on a back table in the Winking Skeever. He is a leveled potential follower skilled in Archery, One-Hand, Light Armor, Sneak, and Destruction, with several perks with each skill. During the quest, he has stage-specific dialogue, so talk to him often :)

The quest stage involving the note intentionally does not have a quest marker. This is to make you actually read the note to know where to go.

Ysandir has special dialog if you are in the Thieves Guild.

At the end of this quest, match your skills against a leveled Wood Elf battle-mage, skilled in One-Hand, Heavy Armor, Restoration, and Destruction. He also has a journal on the round table, where you can read his ruminations.

This quest is a culmination of all my learning so far and includes 1 dungeon, 2 scenes, 4 new characters: 2 followers, an ally and an Boss.

THE CAVE:

You'll explore a small cave system with underground waterfalls, enemies, and ingredients to harvest. The cave, however, is NOT big on traps or tons of natural, "rubbly" things, as those were not my priority. I preferred to focus more on creating a story, scenes, and connecting it all with scripting. You'll find the cave marked on the map. It is fully hand-Navmeshed and Nav-tested.

REWARD:
Loads of loot throught the cave
Andario will give you a couple treasures

ISSUES:
- If you have issues, try the Nexus version. As this was my first major mod, the archive may not be perfect.

Erebus Red tested Steam version first, and according to him it went fine.

NEWS: I'm going to remove this mod. It's just really old (my first), no ratings, and the last comment was over 2 years ago. This is your heads-up if anyone actually checks this page anymore. I will remove it over this weekend.

I spoke to the guy in the Winking Skeever to start the quest but he didn't have a voice and then he told me he had given me a letter but it didn't appear in my inventory so i couldn't continue.

There should be a scene with ghost and that will set the stage to proceed toward Haldwyn.

No instructions from the ghost and no sign of Haldwyn, so I'll unsubscribe and try again at a later date, because it's a good quest and I'd like to finish it!

It doesn't tell me Completed: W/e. I went to the inn, i talked to the elf, being one to enjoy story i understood what she said, but no it didn't tell me the objective was complete.

Doesn't it tell you "Completed: [objective]" then display the next objective? The journal actually isn't necessary for completing the quest, more of a guide. honestly, I'm really only concerned about the journal when I'm play-testing. when I play for fun, I hardly pay attention. So, if you know where to go, and the events are happening, and then the quest completes, you should have no worries.

Anduniel, my only fear is with the objectives not updating i wont really be able to finish the quest

You should have the objective "Find Haldwyn's Cave", and a quest marker leading you inside (that is how the cave is marked, not with a map marker b/c I can't get map markers to work). There is not much in the quest journal other than objectives. So if I understand you right, it -sounds- like you don't really have a problem *crosses fingers*

I dont know what is going on, I talk to ysandir and I cant get the next part of the quest. I mean I know I am suppose to go to a cave by Whiterun by listening to the story but the quest journal doesn't update.

updated file uploaded! I added all scripts, voice files, and face gen data to the archive, and it said it was successful, so *crosses fingers* it better have worked!
