After playing Logistique I made myself think 'Wow, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This mod is not like any other.' because it has realism to it. Not being able to use any of the combine items was something interesting and relying on health pick ups from medkits was interesting. The voice acting was good as well. However there was some problems, like in the first chapter I found this glitch where if a fuse was side ways you were able to place in two fuses into the fuse box (try saying that 3 times fast) I know it'll be patched up soon though but if it stays for speedrunning purposes I understand. Next was the enemy spawning. I didn't realize sooner or later that the enemy spawn kept respawning enemies from in the first chapter. I also got a stuck constantly, it was possibly due to me not looking at my surroundings sooner or bad map design. During chapter 3 when I had to get from the other side of the trash compactor I didn't know if I was supposed to jump or not since I didn't know about the health regeneration system. Oh did I tell you that this game has a health regeneration system? Yeah it kind of makes the medkits pointless. Honestly having to rely on medkits would of made this game challenging yet they added a health regeneration system. Can't tell if the medkit was to give you more health or have it just be used as an armor system. I couldn't tell from this because the lack of HUD was making it hard to realize. Like it was a Call Of Duty game, not that there's anything wrong with it having some system input relations to it but it just felt strange of what the medkits actually did. Speaking of the HUD I do like the fact that you have to check what you have left in your ammo and seeing if you could waste a mag or not by reloading. Kept you on your feet to either safe or waste your ammo. I'd also like to point out is when I was playing I was able to pick up a combine health vial. I don't know how I did it, but it happened out of thin air (Seems like Adam's a bit of a liar if you ask me.). The AI was a bit strange as weirdly the Civil Protection Units had better aim than the Combine Soldier Units. Maybe it was either due to the guns or the AI itself. The Elite Combine Units were fine, seemed more professional than the Combine Soldier Units as they had better aim with their guns. Zombies? Nothing special they just acted like their normal selves. But I swear the headcrabs just keep on popping up somehow in chapter 4. I don't know if this is due to a respawn point but I'm going to guess that it is. Maybe it's because I didn't officially kill them 'cause I felt like sparing them. Don't ask me why, it wasn't for malicious intent for part of the review. For the plot, it's kind of nice how they handled the whole thing, making minor encounters that you would see in the first few chapters of Half Life 2 would be used for plot purposes. And Adam trying to get his wife back while the player and Adam view visions can be theorizing for the fan base. Along with Adam finding how he's been cucked. Yes that actually happened just play chapter 3 until you get to the combine consoles and also he never explains if he ever had sex with her or not as well as being in disbelief, all of which are those that are indications of another man dipping his milk into her cookie (If you get my drift). He's still determined to find and regroup with her. I also just wanted to point out that when I was standing on the crates during chapter 2, the only time that it doesn't break is when you have to get over a wall that had the more stable crates that can't be moved. Weird how it changed because every time I stood on top of a crate it just broke instantly like Adam was dummy thicc or something (Sorry I just had to make that joke). Also during chapter 4 in the end when the boat rebel talked to you. The boat model weirdly wasn't there. I don't know if I just didn't have the right game for the model but if I'm not wrong, it's possibly an error. If I am, I have no idea which other game I'm supposed to download it. And it was in fact visible before the updates rolled around. I also had a problem with how you couldn't sprint and you just had to rely on jumping to make it more easier on your side but it was possible without running. But that's all I have for this game. I think of it as 'Hunt Down the Freeman' but if it had a twin brother and it was the yang side of the game. And if it was actually good with it's plot and voice acting. I do recommend that you play it. Might give out a possible future for some people who want to take on some realism in Half Life 2 modding. Just, might, not a 100% sure but I'm confident that it will do so.
