Quite frankly, the game is amazing. Its like ace attorney on LSD. Of course, the main differences between the 2 are that Danganrompa is much more fast paced and has more minigames. You can't just like through your notes during the trial. You have to present your case and debate your classmates in real time. It will repeat if you don't state a case, but you have a very real time limit. I've found myself completely stumped because I didn't review my evidence before the trial started and lost because of it. Once you get the hang of things, the game just never giving you quality. The story is suspenseful and interesting. Despite knowing the single most major plot twist in the game, it managed to keep me captivated. On top of that, the characters are all just so charming in each of their own special ways. You can easily find a character and just fall in love. Just be careful who you fall for. You never know who you can trust. The sound of the game is also great. First of all, the MC is voiced by none other than Bryce Papenbrook. The music is also very catchy. I can still hear the music of the class trial debates even as I write this. The music always helps set the mood. It never feels out of place. Each and every track helps the scene feel as impactful as possible. Lastly, the visuals of the game are it's real magnum opus. Each and every character, location, and texture looks spectacular. Especially during cutscenes. It's kind of weird but also pleasant to look at. The fact that everything is in 2D (no joke) may throw you off though. Regardless, Danganrompa is one of if not the most stylish games I've ever played.
I can't think of a single thing to really dislike about the game. The story is gripping. It looks good. It sounds good. You either lave the characters or love to hate them. Sure, it takes some getting used to when it comes to the minigames, but once you start, its nonstop enjoyment.
