The game is definitely worth a play on it's own, but there's a lot of room for improvements, and if they were all implemented, I think the game would be worth much more than it is now. Most importantly, to me, would be allowing for more animals to be kept at the cafe. There are several workarounds to the limit, but the most effective requires you to make all 10 of your assigned animals big, then put all the other unassigned ones on their heads. This is already a little sad, but you have to make sure you put all the animals back on the other's heads when you save and reload, because they fall off, which lets them leave the cafe again. Allowing for upgrades to the cafe to make it larger, changes to the wallpaper, flooring, kitchen, exterior of the cafe and possibly more yard space would also be lovely. The Clover Fields area is a pretty big disappointment, as it's nearly empty. Some repeatable quests would be nice to give you a little more to do once you've finished everything. Multiple save files so you can have different cafe layouts and characters would also be fun, since the character creator is very in depth. This would also slightly remedy the lack of animal capacity, since you could have different animals in each save file. I also wish there were more character quests and characters in the areas in general. You're given many characters to talk to at the start of the game, but as soon as you unlock the second area, the amount of characters declines rapidly. One last small nitpick, I wish that potion effects would also be saved instead of resetting as well (excluding the big/small potion, since that one does save.) All in all, it's not bad by any means, but it could be seriously incredible if it was given a bit more love.
