Mr. Driller Drill Land is a Japan-exclusive Nintendo GameCube classic, but now it's back: remastered and localized for the western audience on Steam and Nintendo Switch!

I love the Mr. Driller games and I've been waiting for this to come out for so long. I poured hundreds of hours into the series, thanks to it's "Easy to Pick Up / Hard to master" gameplay.

The story begins with the main group of characters being invited to "Drill Land" a new underground theme park, built by Flüid. But as it turns out Flüid is the evil Dr. Manhole under disguise who wants seeks revenge on the main characters and wants to get rid of them once and for all.

The basic gameplay consists of drilling down and destroying the colorful blocks to reach the end goal. Be careful because the blocks can crush you! You also need to collect Air Capsules because the air is limited. There's a lot more to the gameplay but thats the short explanation.

The gameplay is very addicting and you can easily spend hours playing it at a time. Mr. Driller DrillLand has different modes and levels of difficulty, online leaderboards to try and reach the top and a LOT of collectibles to buy and gaze at. You won't get bored anytime soon.

The remaster itself is very faithful to the original, but now it's in HD, widescreen with a new Casual Mode and Online Leaderboards added.

If you are looking for an addicting arcade puzzle game (and like a good challenge), I would 100% recommend this.
