When I first bought this game almost a year ago I played it for a little while then became disinterested. A few months later I got really into it and after 292 hours of this game I can confidently say it isn't that great. The entire game is horribly balanced with a handful of survivor and killer perks being meta while only a few killers being viable at higher skill levels. Each patch and update BHVR come out with feels like they worsen the games balance even more , on top of bringing heaps of new bugs that break the game for a few days (eg: boon totems) . Its not uncommon for maps or items to be disabled and for bhvr to patch over it with a bloodpoint reward. There has also been an influx of cheaters who also make the game borderline unplayable at times and the devs still haven't addressed it. The price of the games in game premium currency has been slowly going higher and the company has even had dealings with nfts (idk much about i though) . It feels as they care more about cosmetics than the state of the game itself. All of this has led to the game to feeling stale as ever and me and many people I know who play the game just feel like ♥♥♥♥ afterwards, If the devs don't pull their heads out of their asses this game will continue to worsen in this state.



Side note: People complain about the toxicity but all video games suffer from toxic players
