I have not read many reviews but what I have read mad me a little mad... I am seeing posts that are top rated but are complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and what makes it better is that some of them have a 1000 hours plus but don't recommend the game. I am going to clear some of this ♥♥♥♥ up with a non-bias (no opinion only facts) review.

***If you are in to the following games then you will love this game most likely... The Forest, Conan Exiles, or any other survival game***

1) Ark can take up alot of time but it doesn't have too
If you are a actual person and have you know one of those things called a life well then you will probably not be playing the for 16 hours a day. Out of the reviews I have seen they say that you need to spend your entire life on the game. While this can be true if you decide to play on official servers where the gathering rate is rediculous and you need to play all the time to actually protect the cheap base you built. But if you don't have that amount of time well then there are a few options. You can simply play on a PvE server where no one can raid you (even though they might bring a wild dino and your defenses agro it but this is easily avoidable by not putting up defenses on the outside). The other option is playing on a unofficial pvp server that has a increased gathering rate. Even though you can still get raided the gathering rates are increased so that you can easily get defense up and have some kind of chance.

2) Ark is not full of bugs...
Ark is not full of alot of bugs. It is a alpha game so yes it has some flaws but it is not game breaking and can be easily avoidable along with easily being fixed. Also these bugs don't last long since the devs put out updates all the time fixing stuff and adding stuff like new dinos and items. This means that a majority of the time (if playing on a modded server this doesn't count since the mods are at fault but as long as they are popular mod like structures + then it will be fixed fast) all bugs are not noticed and will be fixed faster then you even realize they are there

3) The game eats pc power...
I will be honest this game will take that computer that you spent 1000$ and it will give it a run for it's money... But their are different launch settings that will help with that. I am using a gtx 960 4 gb ssc, 16gb of ram, and AMD A8-7650k Radeon R7 and I have to run the game in low settings for a 60 fps gameplay. I can run it in medium but I will get maybe 1 to 2 crashes per day.

4) The game is hell of alot of fun
I won't lie and this is bias that the game is alot of fun!!!!
