I would definitely recommend it. It's the one game on steam I can continually go back to, and it's the only game I regularly play anymore. One of the main reasons I enjoy it is because you can really see how much you improve over time. My aim and game sense are always improving, and there's always more to learn. Sure, when you start off, there is a pretty steep learning curve, but that curve is one that is easily broken with a friend to play with, probably one of the best parts of CS:GO; the helpful community.
