Don't know why anyone would want to buy the DLC separate to the editions of the game but I'm pretty happy with the music player feature in 8, wasn't a huge fan of the CDs in 7 because they were only available in a single building and you had to go out of your way to play them. Being able to listen to them wherever is really neat.

Do not lock NG+ behind a paywall. I get adding an extra dungeon or whatever behind it but replayability shouldn't cost anything on top of the base price of the game.

Taichi Suzuki we must use our INFINITE WEALTH to buy the expensive version of the game to obtain NG+

(game is peak btw, speaking from the demo the combat is so much better than 7)

Addicting game that got me hooked for an entire weekend. It's nice to play the father of colony management sims without having to deal with the symbol graphics.

I think ideally you want to play DF after something like Prison Architect so you can get the gist of how these games work but play it before Rimworld as that does quite a few things better than Dwarf Fortress. All of these games can exist together and serve their own niches.

The soundtrack is pretty good, the main title theme gives you this sense of hopelessness and 'Strike The Earth!' just bangs and I loved it coming on.

It didn't even launch for me and I forgot to refund it in time so I'm just stuck with it in my steam account.

My friends don't even play this version anymore so even if it did work I'd never get to play it because they insist on re-releasing the game every year.

Early Access Review
I hate to go against current popular thing but it just isn't my type of game and didn't engage me. It kept being sold to me as "not scary" and "more of a co-op game than a horror one" but I just didn't feel comfortable playing (I'm a ♥♥♥♥♥, I know)

Sort of the same reason why I don't enjoy among us, there are just better co op experiences out there for when you want to do something with friends and have a laugh.

Goes hard, despite the CS2 specific issues associated with this music I think we will look back on it as fondly as the Global Offensive theme.

Rough around the edges but it is what I wanted out of a sequel to Cities Skylines. If you turn off DoF, Fog, Vsync and Motion Blur then it runs just as well as CS1 did, of course 45 frames isn't really perfect but when it's consistent that's perfectly fine for a city builder and doesn't detract from the gameplay itself.
I'll update this review later on when the performance issues are addressed and when I have much more experience (15 isn't enough for a comparison to CS1), just putting this out now to go against the majority of negative reviews complaining about the performance.
Other than that I would like
- Quay walls
- The ability to let me place stuff even if it's partially in water
- The ability to turn off zoning for a specific road/select what joints I want it to appear
- The cemetery not to slow down the game to 10fps whenever you place or move it

Other than that, pretty fun.

A rough diamond like others have said. The game itself is a great sucessor to Payday 2 and exactly what I wanted out of a sequel. The gunplay is amazing, it looks great and the map design is far better. I do feel like it's very inspired from Hitman World of Assassination trilogy with the story flowing the same way 2016 does with the first few missions being getting back into the game and then the proceeding ones being unravelling a conspiracy, the cinematics are done like Hitman 2 and elements of stealth are also clearly borrowed from the game which is great for a fan like me.

However the main problem currently lies with the game being online only using their Starbreeze Nebula system. It's understandable why they would chose to do this given that it's a cross platform title with everyone being able to play with one another however the servers were just straight up down when the full launch happened and this choice (and other multiplayer related decisions) also leads to:
- Not being able to keep a crew together after one heist, one of the coolest things in 2 was the bond shared after doing a few heists back to back with people you have never spoken with before
- Not being able to visit a persons steam profile to add them or comment something nice post-heist
- Not being able to say GG in the match summary screen which along with the above things has made people way less chatty (Also due to console players being in lobbies)
- Not being able to play offline solo or just quickly get into a game with a friend (Why do I have to matchmake if I'm playing alone or with a friend?)

I believe they will eventually write this wrong because the game wont survive without it unless the console market for the game is that big they can get away with doing over their core audience of Steam players.

As it stands I do think the game is still worth it, at the time of writing the servers are up and should continue to be given there won't be a huge influx. The 8 heists are very replayable and I'm pretty excited for what the future holds. If you aren't sold on buying the game I hope you look at it again in a few years as it might be worth it to you then.
